Im telling you THAT BEN HANKS dad went to UF. LOL He was a uf lean from birth.

those are the comp rankings im telling you those guys locally werent/arent perceived as such.
😂 I understand now the hanks thing, and yeah I feel what you’re saying that rankings is not the perception of the local guys on who the best player is but at the end of the day a local 5 star or a top 100 player you got to get him is a safer bet than a 3 star and the majority of the time they pan out.since 2010 you take a look at the tri county composite 4 stars and every year there like 15 to 22 4 stars and we being getting very few of them some years only 2. And when you take a look at most of the kids that went elsewhere the majority of them balled at other schools

I’ve called Corner Recruiting the “Quincy Wilson CB curse” for years now, where we haven’t been able to close on/target early the top corners in South Florida. You are correct, we’ve lost guys like Quincy, and with that Marco pulling Cj Henderson, Shawn Davis, and Brian Edward’s. We couldn’t show development so we missed out on Pat Surtain (never was coming), Tyson Campbell, Asante Samuel, Jason Marshall, Tyrique Stevenson (out of high school), Ben Hanks, Jaden McBurroughs, and a bunch more that I can’t think of and we all blamed Rumph, when the reality is we couldn’t develop the ones we got.

I thought Bandy, Ivey, Frierson, and Blades would break the streak and develop and go high in the draft but that never came to fruition. Also thought us landing Tyrique via transfer would help as well but nope.

The day we get the top dog corner(s) from down here and develop them into a top round pick is the day that Quincy Wilson will stop haunting us.

Kenton Dopson is the best db down here in his class.

We got Artie burns who went in the first round,I still don’t understand why we can’t keep the majority of the kids home

That year I think in the board the chatter was that they didn’t want Chris’s lammons cause he was small and the kid balled out at South Carolina, and if we look at the other positions is crazy the amount of talent they couldn’t keep home.guys like Sony Michel, his teammate McKenzie who was a beast but was small,we could of gotten flowers who balled at usf instead of rosier,Travis Rudolph flipped to fsu and balled there, and every year is the same a bunch of kids leaving and a bunch of excuses why the left

Nah other programs recognizing talent and what Miami did on Sundays is what cursed the program. $$$ eventually caught up to us and social media started hurting slowly.
Nah Miami not caring about football like they should have killed the program. If we stayed afloat our rep would be great on social media
