That’s very far. Islas is down south.Last time I drove up to watch a game, I stopped at Islas Canarias for some croquetas de jamón.
Now I don't know how close this is to you, but I highly recommend you consider this family friendly gem.
He means non-chain foodIt is local... a few miles at the most... not far at all.. Google it.. you'll see..

I like the place too. I remember it when I was in high school and I think it was located more north closer to the airport. Last time I was in miami I decided to go and it was no longer by the airport but way south. I say that as I’m from the Beach - but I went and really liked it. I think I saw that they have two of them down south.Yeah, I got no clue about the logistics, but that place was the ****.
Croquetas de jamón, an ice cold malta hatuey, pretty sure I had some other stuff, but that **** hit!!!!
Love that place, idgaf...

I don’t know - maybe they still have one by the airport and I took a trip further than I needed to. @TRick72 does Islas Canarias still have a place by the airport? It was located like on 27th or something like that when I was in high school.Oh ****, the one I went to was by the airport. Maybe it was longer than i thought since I went there.
They only have the locations out west by 137th avenue on coral way and one on bird. Plus they have Finka on 147th and Coral Way. Those are way out of the way of HRSI don’t know - maybe they still have one by the airport and I took a trip further than I needed to. @TRick72 does Islas Canarias still have a place by the airport? Edit: confirmation the original was located at 285 NW 27th Avenue (now El Caribe Restaurant).

Where’s the tres golpes? Most of the good stuff around the stadium is fried and battered
Isla Canarias is their traditional Cuban food. The one on Bird and 137 is the better of 2 locations. Finka is a “trendier” and it’s a fusion restaurant of Cuban, Asian and Peruvian foodWhich is the best one of their places?
