Remind me again how Mario is not good enough for us?

I have an interesting idea, the people that love Mario and want Mario so much, just become an Oregon fan. Manny lost my trust in him he has 1 year to prove himself. But all you Mario lovers, go root for Oregon. If you are not Miami I don’t care for you.

Could be legit, but could also be somebody making up a story. Why? Don't know, but it feeds into discord which would be my guess. Soe people just like to stir sht up and a story like this does just that. First people who wanted Mario get to be ****ed, and now all of us who are ****ed about Manny can find another thing to btch about.

I don't know if it's true or not, but these kind of stories with no backing always seem kinda convenient. Like sure we got this steaming pile of dung, but at least we were in it for something better. Or GODDAMMMMMITTTT WHY TF DID THEY FCK IT UP SO BADLY AGAINNNNN???!!

If he wants to be the recruiting coordinator that would help....but he sucks as a coach and is only getting players cause of the Nike money. You will see next year when he doesnt have Herbert and he loses to some 4-8 team again

Now would I take 10-2 at the moment, **** yeah, but not if it meant we underachieved. Mario did, same with 6-6 Manny. Neither are the solution to our problems. We are like $EC teams on date night and it is time we look beyond the framily stump for our next relationship.

Bottom line is Mario should be in the MNC hunt and he is not. Why? Because he is not a great coach. Want to go another four or five years after the failed Manny experiment wondering why we cannot win it all, hire Mario. But at least with Mario we may get back our wait until next year battle cry that we have lost with Manny who has left no hope.

LOL so I guess Nick Saban with the #1 class like 10 years straight must be a real underachiever! If anyone should be playing for a title it's him. You're right though, we'll just stick with 6-6.
 
No doubt Mario will actually develop the kids who have signed. His developmental plan at Oregon makes Manny and his dancing sideline ballerinas look Pop Warner-ish.

Herbert was a 3 star out of HS and now with two years under Mario he may be the top pick in the draft.

Manny is producing FA’s.

I used to be against Mario taking over here, even after last season, However, I am logical if nothing else. Proof is in the pudding. Mario would be WAYYYY better than what we have now and I think he has the capacity to turn into a national championship coach. I mean, whether LSU wins the natty this year or not, I think everyone would now admit that Oregon is a NC level coach. If guys like Oregon and Miles can win NC's, then Mario could possibly grow into that.

Win the conference, recruit, back fill coaching changes, manage the game, etc... Looks to me like those unlimited resources got them the coach they wanted.

Meanwhile back at the ranch, Blake James interviewed one person with no previous head coaching experience and a very limited career coaching resume... and hired him on the spot. Im not sure that resources are the problem here.

I think i speak for the entire fan base when i say this LAZYhire by James could bring about a house cleaning in AD Dept
both Blake and Carol must go if we are ever to field a decent team........ he's in process of failing twice

Yeah, it's hard for me to root for losses. Even if Enos comes back, I'll still be hoping against all hope that the light bulb comes on and our boys start winning again. But, sometimes you have to lose a pawn to kill a king.

Because he had the cajones to jump off the Al Golden train before it completely derailed and go work under Saban, i.e. the most successful CFB coach in history.

He wanted to come back this time last year and the buy out was all set to be paid by the soffers. That is until Blake hired his fishing buddy less then an hour later. Hopefully Blake James gets Lou Gehrig’s disease!

I've heard this story before and if it's really true, Blake needs to be held accountable for this. 6-6 lies squarely on his shoulders. On this board, everyone says that the BOT's don't care about football, and I don't think that's entirely true. I'd like to think that with all of the wealthy, savvy businessmen on the BOT, they would look at this as a serious error in judgement and would take steps to either fire Blake or at least stop him from making more blunders like this.

You would think huh? But those are the facts about Blake and his hiring of Manure Diaz. Just more of the same friends hiring unqualified friends at UM. James absolutely need His feet put to the fire along with the BOT which is why the billboard fund was started to hold these @ssholes in the admin accountable because no one else clearly has for the last 15 plus years. Donate brother, we need to put this billboard right in the face off US1 to look at everyday drive to work in the morning. I donated 150$.
