Remember when Manny was too stubborn?

Yea this has been discussed a lot recently.

Say what you want about Manny. The dude is not stubborn and has been trying to correct obvious issues.

The jury is still out on if he can take us back to the promised land, but he has shown the willingness to adapt and improvise while learning on the job and as a fan, that is nice to see.

Keeping Enos or keeping Baker would have been career suicide and something Golden or Richt would have done
I agree, but we had our typical contingent of fans badmouthing Manny when they did not see an immediate firing of Baker.

So Manny looks like a genius for moving on from his two biggest hires only 2 years in, as if that wasn’t a giant fail on him? Ok, got the memo. We’ll just ignore that failed experiment and two more years down the drain for this program.

“but, but at least he’s willing to change”

Ur such a mope lmfao

Dont' be a child, it takes more cojones to tell a friend who works for you to find another job and have to see them around the office for the next month than it does to fire them and cut the chord.
Of course...it would be unreasonable to expect him to be a professional about it and make big boy decisions that he’s paid millions for. Can you imagine any top 10 hc wasting all this time and effort playing games with his staff instead of just doing it and moving the program forward?

Its not that he's a genius... hes at least willing to go down swinging at the plate than just stand there and do nothing. For that yes I give him credit.

However hes not gonna have this luxury much longer. Ive already gone on record saying if he doesnt reach the ACC title game and win at least 10 games then he should be replaced

So the 8-3 mafia is now saying manny fired baker and the last month has just been a charade? Baker left so manny is savage again?

You are playing checkers with these simpleton thoughts. You do realize he pushed both out door and instead of firing them and costing us close to a million or more he's putting that money back to work with analyst hires and a new LB coach.

Would you prefer we fire everyone and be in 26 million budget deficit like FSU?

I swear some of yall don't have the business sense to run a goldfish game at the county fair.

What exactly was wasted?

The problem with mopes is that they act like they want something reasonable.
Bama fans were losing their **** minds when ole **** gained over 700 on them.
so even Bama fans have their mopes and they’ve one a few chips.
Mopes act like all they want is to win the coastal consistently but in reality they will complain about how we got there.
if we go undefeated and lose to Clemson they will complain that the signs were there the whole season that we barely won the coastal.
The loss to Clemson would be seen as a coaching failure and how obvious the coaching level and preparation was.
If we beat Clemson and get blasted in the playoffs they will complain about the same thing and how Mario or butch would’ve definitely put us in the final game.
Mopes have permanent wheels on the goal posts And nothing short of a coach winning a title will ease some of their misery.
and even then they will see the deficiencies on the team and say how we have no shot at coming back to the playoffs cause x y z.

Trust me I’ve been there.
But as this team gets closer we’ve actually seen how far away we’ve been.
Think about the arguments we’ve had just on the changing of the offense that was hampering us for years.
The facilities that we’ve been behind on and only got 2 years ago.
The dorms, the staff size, local recruiting, depth at key positions, retention of draft eligible juniors,
Something as valuable as red zone offense, and 3rd down conversions.
A freaking competent QB. Look at what that sht did for Tampa.
Saban doesn’t recruit Tua and UGa has a title.
We were so **** behind but our orange and green glasses weren’t able to see it.
We’ve been 3 consecutive top 5 classes behind Bama and Ohio state and Clemson.
And even then we would be behind them if we didn’t get a quality qb. But that alone did will continue to do an incredible job.
We still have some catching up to do but manny in 2 years has recruited better locally since Shannon despite his poor initial choices for coordinators and on field record.

And if manny fails the non stop circle jerk of negativity and high fiving and “I told you so sluprers” threads will be pathetic. Almost like they love the failure more than the success of the program.

Considering Manny hasn’t made it to the ACC title game yet, your dissertation is a complete miss.
