Miguel Cabrera gave me advice on how to hit in high school.
I went 0-5 that night and pooped in my jockstrap.
try depends instead of jock strap.

This is an absurd take, IMO. Michael Jordan can give advice on basketball. He’s not a problem. But if he gives the advice to a short fat slob, it won’t matter.Jimmy has given our last 4 coaches advice about coaching and how to run a program. Maybe Jimmy is the problem.
i know you werent ... i was adding an opinion ... i could have written it better. You know I’m not making a comparison; as I said in a previous post you need a football-mind to hire a football coach.
two things JJ knows for sure ... football and fishing !This is an absurd take, IMO. Michael Jordan can give advice on basketball. He’s not a problem. But if he gives the advice to a short fat slob, it won’t matter.
JJ is one of the few best fb coaches ever. He built a great staff. He evaluated better than anyone, right there with Butch, who learned at his side. He understood scheme, innovated in that era, motivated players and had Parcell’s ability to understand how different guys had to be dealt with. JJ can give advice all day long, and is really above criticism in that regard without far more data than anyone here has. But who is he giving advice to? He didn’t hire Clappy, Radio, Gluten, Pricht or Goofy. Bill Belichick could give them advice too. Wouldn’t matter one lick. You going to blame Bill? Unless you think nick Saban’s advise would matter here, you’re playing out a losing hand. (Hint: it wouldn’t ... because you can’t turn chick**** into chicken.)
I think he knows the ‘three fs’.two things JJ knows for sure ... football and fishing !
another genius here.
as if a meeting with jimmy johnson is all it takes to unlock the secret to multiple championships.
ask al golden what meeting with JJ did for his teams.
How when Ed Reed is a Miami alumni and wants to coach at MiamiThen you support F$U
I get what you’re saying, but when Yankovich met Johnson he said he knew. I’m not sure there was much of a “search”, I think he knew who he wanted. I could be completely wrong.
I think with a better group of coaches with him then yes can't be no worse offThere’s no way Ed Reed can be worse than Manny right?
Sideline Al was probably more interested in and was asking what color tie he should wear. .... JJ probably just shook his head and left, another genius here.

I want you to get to the hospital right away, I think you've got a brain bleed.I want Ed Reed as head coach then let him choose is other coaches
Ed Reed is not remotely qualified at this time to be a head coach of a CFB program. Jesus Christ. How when Ed Reed is a Miami alumni and wants to coach at Miami
I seem to recall that 7-9 team being able to tackle.Even the great Jimmy Johnson was a flop year one; taking over the defending national champs and going 8-5 out the gate.
Would've loved to see this board after a 31-0 halftime lead against Maryland, only to lose 42-40 ... or "Hail Flutiie" the next game and a home loss to Boston College. Lost Fiesta Bowl to UCLA, as well as getting handled, 38-3 by No. 15 Florida State, when Canes rolled in ranked No. 4.
News flash; Johnson could've given Manny all the greatest advice in the world and he could've heeded every bit of it. Doesn't change the fact he took over a team that was 7-9 going back to Pitt in 2017, got their azzes handed to them in bowl game, 35-3 against Wisconsin—and is breaking in an entirely new offensive staff, young o-line, no proven quarterback, et al.
Not gonna fix that **** overnight, no matter who is giving you advice.
Look, we've used every other criteria to hire, let's just go with what'd be cool this time.Ed Reed is not remotely qualified at this time to be a head coach of a CFB program. Jesus Christ.
Then he should have said so in the offseason, rather than swinging ropes like Tarzan and beating his chest with TNM bull crap. We’re all grown up, and appreciate a legit analysis of where the team is. Don’t tell us this is a rebuild 5 games in. Don’t tell us about “the best practice ever” bull crap. why the **** does this team seem to repeat the same mistakes over and over again, every game? Why is it always the players’ fault after every loss? At some point, you as an adult, become responsible for this crap. If not, please refund the millions you are scamming this university for.Even the great Jimmy Johnson was a flop year one; taking over the defending national champs and going 8-5 out the gate.
