Reilly Gibbons commits to Miami!

Not leading or hinting that he will pick Miami but if he does, Miami will have four Solid Offensive Linemen in this class that all can contribute. Darling,Linder, McDermott and Gibbons :)

It would be the best OL haul in the country. Stars are good but Gibbons is severely underrated at this point. He will have a high ranking by the end of the year.

Would be a great surprise, but wat up with duke and USf?

wishful thinking .... our Oline class is filling up and he wants to help get duke on board ..

Duke being in the mix is actually a great sign, shows that he actually values academics.

on his twitter he has alink to a website of him and i read a post that he put up from 247 and he wants to go to law school so hes looking strongly at education. How is miamis law program?

Someone on War<unt is also saying Miami.

Apparently Reilly did a local interview recently and the only school he mentioned was Miami.

If he was truly interested in Miami it would make sense to commit ASAP since OL positions are filling up quickly.

FSU oline recruiting has been atrocious so there is no reason for him to commit at this point if he has FSU in the lead.

Not sure of UF's situation.

Lol I heard something outrageous the other day that like only 30 percent of grads have gotten hired in recent years

Miami's law program is pretty good. Let's not take this thread off-topic but Duke is the best of his choices, UF and FSU (both top 50) are better than Miami (top 80).

I am not saying it is not possible, but it would be really difficult to take a full course load and play college football. The first year of law school is pretty time consuming in itself so it may be difficult for most to play a D1 sport and do law school.

He has his own website and it says he visited us March 27th last visit, wasnt that the day KC originally committed?

So Kehoe ****ed around and got himself a two deep full of studs huh?

/if this goes through of course

That is Law School for you. Even after you graduate you still have to pass the Bar. Many take time off after graduating just to prepare for it. Miami is 31.2% employed at graduation but FSU is only 23.3. UF is at 35%. You aren't going to see a crazy high percentage unless you look at schools like Yale, Harvard, Stanford, etc.

And they said he couldn't recruit LOL Turns out Uncle Jethro was the hire we should have been worried about.

This is another topic for another board.

Would not be surprised if its Miami. My only issue ,not a whole lot of smoke pointing our way

I know some kids graduate early and do a masters, but I have never heard of anyone doing law school in their 4th and 5th year on a team. He would likely either go during the off season to a second tier law school with a part time program (ala Steve Young) or wait until he is done playing in the league (assuming he makes it). In that sense Miami is a much better bet than UF and FSU and actually starting to creep up there with Duke. Most people go to the best school they get into and schools look at LSAT first, GPA second, and then other factors like whether you played a sport and the quality of the school you go to. Won't have much bearing in this case since you can still go to a top school if you do reasonably well on the LSAT from a dog**** undergrad program.
