Refs should be investigated

I hate complaining about refs and penalties (or lack thereof for our opponents), but this is getting out of control.

While I do believe that the majority of the penalties called against us are correct (majority, not all), I find it hard to believe we have twice or 3x the amount of penalties as our opponents every game.

For example, USF and UF are penalty machines, just like us. I think they average 8-9 penalties per game. Except when they played us. USF had 2 penalties and UF had 3. Every team we have played this season been called for less penalties against us than their average this season. Except for FSU. They average 5 per game and they had 5 called against them in our game. Only problem is we had 13 penalties. FSU should have been called for multiple holding calls in the 4th qtr. They had 0 all game. Just absurd.

How they didn’t call the holding in the end zone is beyond me. OT has his arm wrapped around Bains torso visibly slowing him down. Then the lack of groundings on Castellanos. Considering the one they called on Beck on the first drive where he threw a go ball when Daniels cut the route off. Terrible.
Oh yeah, that’s the one I forgot about. Daniel’s broke off his route when Beck was pressured and they called that grounding?
That’s never called, ever.

Every time these threads come up, I highlight who and where in the country he is from originally.

Not in South Florida, who has the book on this guy? Did UM slight him during his career and this is payback?
The year that we got raped by the refs against GT when they called a fumble on Cheney, which was NOT a fumble, Mario complained about it publicly, and the Canes staff sent a video of the egregious call to this corrupt @$$hole. The scumbag publicly stated that it was the “right call”, and told Mario and our Canes to shut it.

This is what a good head coach and a good athletic director and a good president would address during a bye week.

You would prepare a large presentation of evidence. Essentially a highlight reel and annotate how the refs missed calls and how they unequally enforced them.

Demand a priority meeting with ACC representatives and demand explanations.

Announce it and send media to cover it.

Also bring into account the other ACC teams who have recently been ****ed by bad officiating.

Professionally make a scene.

But this won't happen.
I'd bet WAke would send reps....... they really got screwed this season

Can someone explain the targeting penalty on the punt return? I watched the play, got up to pour myself a drink and take a **** and when I got back the noles had the ball at like midfield.

It was legit. Led with helmet.

But they have to get rid of it being an automatic ejection

This thread is posted every week. The officiating is an abomination every game so we just need to accept it and move on. Nothing is going to change.

The dudes falling and calling wes for late hit was awful

The slide where Blount landed on the side of Tommy was really ******* bad

Refs really let this game get close… incredible we have two dominant DEs and couldn’t draw a single holding call
They missed a completely obvious pre snap motion penalty when FSU was in the red zone when they scored. The motion man was already running forward when the ball was snapped, just like on the Toney td that was called back.

you seen on several of the replays our dline jerseys are being pulled right in front of the refs and nothing. That call on #61 was not a holding and they should have called the pass interference on the db but no call. Total BS.

This dashboard is good for specific penalties. As expected our personal foul penalty rate is laughable. Double and triple the NCAA average on rush and pass plays

On pass plays we average a holding call on 0.94% of plays, NCAA average is 1.33%

On rush plays we average a holding call on 1.02% of plays, NCAA average is 1.51%
