Refs should be investigated

UGA had the same DPI thrown discussed and waved off like what happened to us against SMU last night. must be a new thing theyre doing on plays with two flags? not sure.

On Lucas PI call, he couldn't have played the WR any better.
Look back for the ball & no flag gets thrown.

Still doesn’t excuse lack of holding calls. Refs break their neck looking for penalties on us (see illegal shift) but will turn a blind eye to our DL. I get you can’t call holding every play but you can & should with blatant holding.

I understand what you’re saying from the optics perspective, but there was no illegal contact by Lucas so it doesn’t matter where he was looking.

We doubled them up. 4-30 to our 8-75 including them taking 6 off the board on the ticky tack illegal shift where Jojo was set but not for the full 1 count before Bauman went in motion.

Even more concerning is the lack of calls against for holding. Mario needs to take a class on getting after the officials. His response to the Lucas PI seemed half hearted. Saban would have gone through 2 headsets today.

I’d actually have respect for meathead if he got his big *** on the field and chewed their ******* *** out and got a flag

He has to call their bull**** out
And as for our AD
So do we even have one
Wtf does that clown do to protect UM athletics from being ****ed by acc weekly

If anyone wants a good laugh go watch the replay of the opening kick of the second half where Chase Smith gets called for holding
I actually was like hold on let me see this. I hit rewind, find Chase Smith and then see a block and the defender takes him down and I said holy ****

No replay showed. No one talks about it. That is the subtle but flagrant **** that is going down. Its ****kkkgg crazy

The Ole Miss one was the most mind-boggling IMO. It was so obviously PI- which is why they threw the flag in the first place.

Yep. If anything it was defensive holding lol

Wrong as that call was, at least one can reason (sort of) that SEC officials were protecting a higher rank team late in the season. Whereas the ACC go out of their way to sodomize a program fighting for a playoff slot. This conference deserves all that is bad. They deserve it and shame on Mario, his AD and even local media for calling this conference.

You have the ****tiest commentator groups in the ACC mention the holds over and over and over again.

It's laughable at this point. We have the two best defensive ends in the country gearing up for the NFL draft and they've drawn next to no holding calls.

We can talk about penalties being an issue, but I'd like to chart these penalties and see how many of them are actual penalties.

There’s been a bit more national chatter about Miami’s penalty disparity recently . Not that it’s going to make a difference but it’s nice that it’s not just fans who notice we get flagged for EVERYTHING and our opponents rarely get penalized at all.

I’m very rarely a blame the ref guy but it’s incredibly disappointing when we could be in the driver’s seat for the ACC title and a playoff spot if the refs don’t totally ***** us with two horrible, game changing penalties against SMU. The flag against Lightfoot for bumping into the quarterback and literally holding him up after a whistle that nobody heard cost us the lead and the receiver who got tackled in the endzone in overtime cost us the game.

I don’t disagree about it not being a penalty but it was close and at first glance I thought contact was made. Get your head turned back & remove all doubt. I assume that’s what will be said in film study.

I feel like I’m defending refs over here lol but playing devils advocate it could just be wrong number announced. Hard to tell when tv never shows replays !

THIS IS THE PROBLEM. The refs refuse to throw flags against our opponents.

2024 also LAST for opponents penalties. Coincidence? I think not.

The crazy thing about all of this is that we see the penalties not being called.... and we see the bad calls made against Miami...

It's clearly not that these teams are just playing clean and Miami is playing bad. This is 100% the refs doing and nothing else.
