Refs Highlight Reel

I’m surprised there isn’t more outrage on this topic from Miami fans.

Officiating in this conference has always been poor but this season the calls have been so consistently egregious (on plays like this weekend’s safety that are indisputable with clear camera footage & angles) that anyone chalking this up solely to incompetence is totally missing the joke. The bias for certain teams this yr has been blatant.

The conference clearly wants a representative in the CFP this yr (not just for national brand exposure but because it helps them negotiate higher TV revenues if they can point to sustained football success). Ironically, having the conference’s HQ involved in the review process of these plays DOES NOT HELP ENSURE FEWER ERRORS ARE MADE BUT RATHER IT HURTS. Why? Because they are the ones making the decisions based on their agendas & protecting their current Golden Child so they make it to the CFP. Yes, the refs are in on this r@cket but I’m highly confident it’s the HQ making the decisions (and those decisions have nothing to do with the visual evidence presented or the rules of football). The lack of integrity is disgusting.

The only good news is that UM’s attorneys may now be able to present a legitimate case (supported by a ton of indisputable evidence) to the Courts that enables us to leave this sh@m of a conference without having to pay the G.O.R. Exit Amount.
Lol I posted the same about using the courts a minute after this one.

Let’s be 100% honest about the acc. The refs were likely told the only chance the acc has of making the cfp is FSU winning out. Make sure that happens or the acc doesn’t make tens of millions.
You probably aren’t wrong but **** em!

I actually think not calling targeting on JW was a make up call for the safety.
It was a make-up call (not calling targeting on JW but that was late in the game when it likely wouldn’t have made much of a difference to the outcome). That “non-call” was window dressing to give the appearance of fairness. The “Fix” was already in with the ruling on the Safety…and that was a huge momentum changer that did affect the outcome of the game.

Get ready for it to happen next weekend too. The conference wants 2 top 10 teams in the ACC championship game. They don't want us to beat UL

And let's not forget Travis whining to the refs who then went and reviewed Williams hit on him.

I watched a few other CFB games and it seems like officials have gotten dumber across the board. It's like they don't put in as much effort because they don't want to be overturned.
Either that or they have FanDuel accounts to cash out of after the games they officiate.

That’s great an all, but games are usually decided by a handful of plays.
Doesn’t take much for these corrupt refs to decide winner of a game. Call here and there during critical times.
Exactly. Like I said above, they must be making a bundle on the games they officiate.

6’5 safety vs a midget QB. James can only get so low. Travis declared himself a runner and was lowering his helmet for contact. Is JW just supposed to lift his head and expose his chin strap/breast plate so Travis could jam him with the crown of HIS helmet?

It wasn’t targeting, it’s 4th quarter football. Helmet to helmet happens and when a QB decided to enact Oklahoma’s they are no longer a QB. They are declared a ball carrier and have equal opportunity to get ****ed up as such.

I cant complain about in-play missed calls, but the ”big 3” reviewed calls in three different games (elbow down, safety, safety)…
I don’t know man.

Put together a 10 minute montage of the bad calls, game changing stuff that we’ve seen. Walk into court with it as a defective product lawsuit or something similar and say it is costing the brand millions. Do everything possible to get out of this conference

That said I’m not an attorney so who knows what remedy there would be.
@lindend remember i asked you to make a thread to track all these bad calls.

you thiught i was kidding. We need it.

The on the field bad calls i can live with. **** going to replay and being clearly wrong is what gets me (Chaney fumble, Clemson and fsu safety, etc.)
