Richt just got here. I'm not putting stock into a transition class. He's proven he has no problem landing top 10 classes with ease at UGA. He's pretty much a lock to pull in a highly-rated class every cycle.

We won't see the full benefit of his arrival until the 2017 class when he has a full year to cultivate those relationships.

how? i want some facts. how did it get better without him. eason, nauta were georgia commits prior to richt firing. so what guy did georgia land that is a high guy they didn't have before?

Didnt know Nauta was a verbal to them before the armygame, also if it was a big impact of losing him k would of loved to see there class fall apart which would indicate that they committed to him. If saban left bama there **** falls apart, but im confident MR will get this **** rolling. Im Giving him two years so i can form an opinion 2 classes two seasons but he should get four.... but we will know by early indicators what he will do at um.

alot of classes stay together after coaches are fired, especially for ee's . and they have lost players at georgia. dewhan whaley and malek young are 2 off the top of my head. and if saban left bama they would hire a guy like mark dantonio and no way it falls apart.

Even though we know richards cieling is the highest of wrs in this class including bruce. I want to know if we blank on AR15 AND Sam it is an ultimate fail including Cook. Is thrre excuses or is it because they r a new staff? I gave ag a chance because no one knew him, but MR was in the game for 20 plus years. I think its a fail and not only that its the same **** with the previous three coaches. Should i be concerned or not? I know u will prolly say no but this is real concerning to me. Should i be worried if we miss on easy targets that should be canes? Sfla is the hardest place to croot because your going against saban for elite prospects.

No. The best recruiting pitch is winning big. He's done all that could be expected of an incoming coach. How we play will be the best indication of success; that said Richt was routinely in the top 5 nationally the last several years. He's a very strong recruiter.

Alabama has 7 players from Florida (3 from the south half of Florida) and 15 players from Georgia.
Saban was a bigger threat to Richt up there than he will be here at Miami.

Even with Saban in the state right next to him, Richt did just fine.
He'll do even better here with a full year under his belt.

I, personally,try to focus on the question and not how it's written. It's all good.

Richt's classes at UGA were elite, and so they should be elite here as well. This class may not be as strong because the staff hasn't had time to build relationships, but recruiting shouldn't be an issue moving forward.

another reason not to worry, actual coaches. coach kool, coach searles, coach brown, coach diaz, almost all these coaches have cache with recruits. and they have young bucks like rumph and hartley , dugans is a good wr coach the staff alone is 100 pct better.

richt always had top 10 classes at georgia. i don't expect any diffrence here starting in 17.

You can root and cheer for these young student-athletes on and off the field and still detest mediocre usage of the English language.
It's no different than being a major fan of a rock group or performer and still think drugs (which most of them do) are for losers.
Not sure what your point is on that.......also, don't assume all kids write and speak in that manner.

I feel ur concerns, bro, but let me help u see the bigger picture:

CMR is actually getting top recruits interested in us again and getting them on campus to OV. This would've never happened b4 under Golden, u feel me? Fact is, we may lose out on some of these OVs b/c CMR is just getting in the game on some of these kids, on a personal level.

Also keep in mind that Miami is different now. We just lost a bowl game against an inferior team w the same players that will be back next year. Yes, we know it was coaching, but the fact remains we haven't won a bowl game in over a decade. Kirby is walking into a better situation from an outside looking in standpoint; plus he can easily show off his brass and kids will think they will be playing under little Nick Saban.

Miami still gotta get back to winning on the grid iron, plain and simple; so yes, while its positive that CMR is a winning coach taken over a once proud team and that's generated some excitement, he's not going to erase 12 yrs of mediocrity just off his name alone. Next year will be a fair assessment. We win, and win often, then you'll see fence post being put up. Now? Ur seeing a guy who's generating interest, will probably close stronger than in previous years, but we'll miss out on some; we'll be disappointed in some, but it's not doom or gloom...look at it as the beginning of bigger and better things to come.

The grammar police need to realize this is a forum. But on the other hand, condoning poor usage of the English language because these kids can play ball is not ok. Think about how many times we give positive feedback for a player that is well spoken - Johnathan Vilma.
Effective communication is key for these kids to be successful outside of the sports arena.

But won with guys that speak hood sbyt n type like it. Lets offer scholarships with people who type and speak "proper english" bet we will never win lol.

What exactly does the way children choose to talk have to do with how you choose to type? I get that people type quickly and make mistakes, but it takes actual effort to type the way you do. And you don't always do it, so don't give my that crap about how you're just keeping it real like the kids do. They play football so they can talk however they want , I couldn't care less. But you type s**t, and around here that's your only job so don't whine when people can't understand your made up language.
