Go to bed Al.
There's no arguing with this guy

You're right man, it's 100% on the coaches. We have no other problems. Just coaching and skeemz. If you fired Al Golden tomorrow and replaced him with any HC with a pulse, we would win the MNC next year guaranteed.
We would've won at least 10 more games last year if we would've stopped "playing patty cake" and played more press man coverage. And MOAR nickel looks.
What was I thinking, that there might be a lot of things wrong with this program beyond the coach..... psshhh lol fuggdat it's 100 PERCENT COACHING. FLY A BANNER.
Lol. Idiots.
I have no idea what you're asking.
We all agree Golden doesn't want to be here, correct? If he has another dumpster fire year, he can forget ever coaching at a D1 school ever again. So I'm asking, do you think that this pressure will force his hand to go all out to have a good year so he'll have a little bit more luster to his name and become a commodity on the coaching front again?
How is he suddenly going to be a good coach?
This. I'm sure that Al would PREFER to win football games. He just can't. Maybe he was a little depressed, detached, etc. in 2014 because his heart had already relocated to Penn State. But the idea that he COULD have been winning a bunch more games if he'd just been trying a little harder doesn't sound right to me. He's just not good, and it's not for lack of trying.

He is, what his record says he is.
I know I'm in the minority on this one... but I actually think Golden will get it turned around at Miami. I think he'll succeed reasonably well here, and go on to another head coaching job.
Two years ago we won 9 games. Last year, we were in every game we played, and the only reason for our record IMO is that the team quit on the coaches and on each other after the FSU game. That should have been a 9/10 win season. We didn't only win 6 because of coaching, that happened because our players gave up. It is what it is.
Next year, we'll be even more talented than last year. I think a 10 win, ACC type season is very possible. And if that happens, you add in the 2016 class, and we've got this thing pointed in the right direction FINALLY.
Maybe that's just my over-optimism, but I could see it playing out that way.

So because we won 9 games last year, you think he'll turn it around? You realize that those 9 wins were smoke and mirrors, right? Struggling to beat UF and Wake, at home, no less. Non-conf games of Savannah St and FAU. It was a sham. It was exposed by Louisville in the bowl.
This past year, the schedule was even easier. And we performed worse. The team next year will be less talented.
So yes, it is your over-optimism. Al Golden is not a good coach. Period.
9 wins is 9 wins.... and the Louisville team we lost to was better than it was given credit for. I think they finished 11-1 or something.
The only "mirage" was losing 7 games last year. That only happened because the team quit. That team should have won 9-10 games.
First and foremost, I've been one of the most vocal Golden hater on this board. However, I have a question...do you think the pressure for Golden to succeed here finally comes to fruition as a means for him to get another gig elsewhere?
golden will never be a head coach in division 1 football again
He knows he is toast at the high level and is cashing in one last year of big boy paychecks. He will be in the same boat as Bo Pelini that could get a head job at a non Power 5 school

Based on his explanation of his previously convoluted question, I guess Relly thinks that Folden's failing because he hasn't tried hard enough yet. If he tries harder this year because his future is on the line he will succeed.I have no idea what you're asking.

Saddest thing is I'm reading real UM fans like Par and others trying hard to explain that our 9 wins in 2013 were a mirage. Even if we had 9 convincing wins, we still lost 4 fcking games. Since when did UM fans get the idea that 9-4 is some sort of accomplishment?
Fcking pathetic what's happened when I'm seeing staunch UM fans accepting the flawed premise that 9-4 is great and then trying to explain how our monumental accomplishment of winning 9 games wasn't as great as it seems. 9-4 is fcking pathetic at UM. That's all you need to say.

@ Franchise: Asked a question, didn't say I thought anything, pot-nah. The reason why I asked that question is b/c when we were calling for his head at the beginning of the season, all of sudden the defense amped up, were smashing everyone, including FSU for the first 3 qtrs and then Golden became Folden again. He rest his laurels on Moral Victories and he got burned. So I don't think anything, I'm asking for opinions.
