Stuff like having the players prepared to know the plays and blocking sure, that can be on the coaches.
Otherwise, everything else is on the RB.
Either you have it or don't.
So you better have a coach who can recruit the hck out of that position.
In fact, your RB coach should be recruit other posititions as well.

So preaching certain leg drive while working thru the line of scrimmage isn’t coaching? Thats just instinct?

his pre-game speeches alone will be a major loss. That is not easy thing to do, and not a lot of coaches are good at it or comfortable doing it.

Prob good for both of us , he clearly is a weak *** recruiter. We need JT type recruiter at rb coach who can develop too .

I thought the same thing, we can and need an upgrade on the trail here. IMO that is. Good for both parties, he did well and we can upgrade for sure there. It’s an attractive room with a great OL. Who wouldn’t want to coach that spot. But you need a worker on the trail cause it can be ruined with a bad recruiter really quickly.
