Tim Harris Jr makes a lot of sense.

Does UM have any former player RB coaches that I'm just not thinking of? All of those guys coaching at their alma mater makes me wish we had someone like that.. DeMarco Murray, Cadillac, Spiller, and then Tashard Choice but he left GT for Texas. Montario Hardesty, former UT back at South Carolina.

I say this only slightly jokingly, as it is true, but Edge wanted to come not that long ago.

My guess is DB coach and Wright are gone. Feld, Mirabel, Field will stay. Big Joe is 50/50 in my opinion.

I agree. That ranking that was posted is a joke is what I was referring to and we went over all of that when someone posted the S&C coach rankings from that service, which as you know would be absolutely impossible to rank

First skill needed in this role: Beast recruiter.
Second skill needed: Develop your backs so they understand pass pro schemes (how to recognize a blitz, etc.)

Ain’t no coach teaching a kid how to read space and make a cut. Those are innate skills.

Bring somebody that is a tireless recruiter and goof ”developer” and not the other way around.

Tim Harris seems like the obvious move. Alumni, elite recruiter and knows all the local coaches. We really shouldn't ever have to leave South Florida for a RB, pretty easy decision for Mario if you ask me.
