Rayshawn Jenkins coming back

Bunch of *****es dumping on the young man. He's wearing a uniform all you ***s would love to wear but weren't talented enough to do so.

He never alluded to thinking about leaving. He said he looks forward to coming back and is probably excited about the changes coming. Learn to read what someone writes.

So you captain save a canes just gonna forget this play?

The fact that he did that wearing#26 sickens me to my stomach
He should declare where is Jordan futch when u need him

Jelani Hamilton coming back? Didn't he (Jenkins) dawg on the fan base earlier in the year?

Clowns calling kids sorry asses when they havent been coached by anybody yet. Weve seen them go to the league and beast. Lets see what he can do with actual coaches that puts players in the best position to succeed

How many recent players fit this story? I'm not talking about a guy like Burns or Hurns who were really good but lost in negativity. I'm talking about a really mediocre talent/player who suddenly looks great in the nfl where the players are even better? Golden managed to make our team look like poo but most good individuals still flash and it was very predictable that the guys playing up there (Denzel, duke, etc) would play.

Jenkins is a nice player to have around now but guys of his caliber have to wash through for this team to reclaim some dominance.

Jenkins has the potential to be a great player if coached right just like most of the other players on the team. Chad Thomas would be billed as the no.1 player in the draft after next season if he had Coach Kool the whole time.

So he chose between Burger King and The University of Miami Football team?

Good choice

I had high hopes for this kid after his freshman year, he has never taken that next step. Let's hope this staff can make him a playmaker, we desperately need some of those in our secondary.

Maybe he was announcing he was coming back from his ejection in the Sun Bowl.

Never knew he was a potential leave early for the draft guy.

Why are all y'all being so hard on the kid? He came back from almost a career ending injury and hadn't played since 2013. All things considered he was solid outside a few plays...

He just made a boneheaded decision on that play. He had him wrapped up then let him go to try and grab him by his legs.....

Mother F***er ain't a great player but des Canes can use all da help day can git. I glad he coming back.

anyone who thinks losing him wouldn't have mattered is crazy.

With bush, howard, and crawford gone and burns declaring we have some serious depth issues going on in the secondary and having someone with reps in like jenkins can only help. And will let Cedrick wright and some of the incoming recruits get a solid year of lifting in before having to be forced in games

This but this thread seems to have a few tough guys LMAO .

Really disappointing season this year but I'm ready to see all these DBs under a new coach.

Clean slate for me. Jenkins is better than he showed last year IMO.

He's always been decent in coverage, especially playing center field but his tackling left A LOT to be desired this year. He had some out right horrendous games.

Some of his angles and decisions were.....man I don't even know. I think he can be better but some of that stuff he did last year may just be things you can't get better at instinctively.

If if you're a DC with some talent I think he's one of those guys that you can find a role for though. Like you said he was a bit of a ball hawk before he got hurt and can lay a hit if he needs to. Really curious to see how him and Carter are used next year because playing on their heels like they have been goes completely against their strengths.

Can we stop trashing players? These kids are Canes and family. So some are not the greatest players, all had to endure the Golden years with the rest of us. Trashing coaches is fine -- they get paid big money. Imagine the site after Kosar's first game against the gator. My Lord he would have been set on fire. We are Canes not SEC fans. Players are our brothers in this family. They should not trash the fans and we should not trash them.
