Ranking Miami QB's over the last Decade

Malik does not play defense. He surrendered 0 points last season. He is not the reason we gave up 17 4th quarter points to FSU. He is the reason we won.

Malik is also not on the kickoff squad. He did not fail to properly field an onside kick. He is not the reason we trailed GA Tech in the 4th. He is the reason we won.

Malik Rosier did not surrender 30 points to Toledo. He accounted for 344 yards and 4 TDs

Malik Rosier did not give up 19 points to UNC. He gained 376 yards and threw 3 TDs.

Malik Rosier did not surrender 4 first half touchdowns to UVA. He scored 4 touchdowns.

4 games we trailed at the half. And it would have been 4 losses with Kaaya instead of Rosier.

Nice highlight reel.

What about all the one-hoppers he sent downrange?

Morris
Kaaya
Harris
Marve

I'd flip the top 2 but you are the list master.

You only mentioned 4 of the 8 games he trailed in but even in those Malik couldn’t do anything in the first half vs FSU. He needed a comeback win after a bad half. Against UVA he threw two early picks and was sluggish through most of the game. We could have put Toledo away after the first quarter until the offense went three and out through the whole second quarter.

What he lacks in throwing the perfect out route he makes up for with leadership, getting the ball in the end zone with the game on the line, and ability to scramble.

So basically it's pulling-out-of-*** time.

Still not a scintilla of evidence to back up your claim that he "scrambles" well.

Malik wasn’t the only one bad in uva game. Let’s make this clear malik didn’t play his best but the defense was downright terrible that game period

He doesn't. He hands the ball off.

Unless you want to start evaluating hand-off etiquette.

In Rick's system the QB has to make audibles often.

All of that action happens before the snap and is all up to the QB. Once they give him his options he has to decide which one is gonna happen based on the D formation.

But I'm not a corch.

This was the difference in beating Va Tech and I believe in ND as well. Yeah we routed ND, but his early TD run would've been a sack with Kaaya and that 4th down throw to Cager would've never happened to lock that game down.

You just refuted yourself.

We beat the **** out of Notre Dame. That's like saying that Ken Dorsey had some magic sauce that helped us beat Washington 65-7. Probably not, dude. We would've smashed them with anybody at QB that night.

Yo, @IndayArtHauz, remember that cat you band for spamming the boards about this time last season? What was his name? He had this same M.O. Instead of replying to a post, whole cloth, he'd spam the notifications by replying to a single line at a time.

Well I think he's back.

That was almost exactly an average Malik Rosier performance.

In fact, it was probably slightly ABOVE average.

15 of 28 (53.5%), 210 yards, 3 TDs, 2 INTs, 137.6 rating
