Ranking ACC QBs for 2021

Imagine how much our fans would be talking Heisman potential with stats like these.

STATS
2020
2019
CMP ATT CMP% YDS AVG TD INT LNG RTG
237 348 68.1 3,586 10.3 30 7 87 179.1
259 422 61.4 3,641 8.6 38 7 68

Only in this board do people not get the obvious. He's **** good.
Its no knock on our guys that other guys are good also. I don't know why some people come on here to get upset at that or to say "why do we have to praise other players". I want King to kick everyone's ***....and he was good this year, but Howell has been better already. Lets see how it looks going forward. Hopefully this is a turning point and we start getting this kinda QB talent going forward or we ain't going nowhere.

I'm proud of King, but he just needs to get better with that arm of his. He can be sporadic and I'm going to put a lot of that in the wide receivers. It's tough throwing the ball when you don't have faith in the guys you're throwing it to. That has a waterfall effect and led to some plays he should've let the ball go to the back or visa versa.

I've never had an issue with people saying so and so is good. It's pathetic to me when posters talk a player down because he plays somewhere else. No sense in that, just keep it real.

Yea I mean the best thing with king is the leadership, stability and calmness at that position. He was very good and hopefully he takes it to next level this year.

Can someone explain to me the infatuation with Kenny Pickett? His numbers are extremely pedestrian:

Tom Brady wears Kenny Pickett pajamas.

As for the supposed "infatuation"- there is no infatuation, just facts. After Miami beat Pitt 31-19 this past season, a number of site members stated that it is an incontrovertible, indisputable fact that if Kenny Pickett had played instead of Pitt's backup QB, Miami would have lost that game by 3-4 TDs GUARANTEED. Any QB who could make that type of difference deserves to be ranked #1.

Based on that ironclad reasoning, King shouldn't be near the top if Pickett isn't- when NKosi Perry came in after King got injured against Ok State, the offense looked just as good if not better. You wouldn't put both King and Perry on the same list, right? The difference between the Miami's backup QB and the starting QB is not 3-4 TDs. For Pickett to have that much impact, logic dictates he has to be #1.

What has the Clemson QB done to be second?
He looked pretty good against ND considering that it was his first career start as a true freshman. Also in his 2 starts as a freshman while Lawrence was out, he passed 439 yards against ND and 342 against BC, totaling 4 TDs and no ints.

A lot of Cane fans still have lingering ptsd from that 2017 L he gave us and hence have become infatuated with Pickett ever since

It's becoming a running gag. Most of the people crowing Pickett are just joking. Although there's still a few who won't admit that he's a terribly average QB and not a difference maker.
