This pulls at the heartstrings a little bit. A return home is a nice story. I think we could do worse than Randy.
That said, maybe he's changed/evolved since his time here, but I found Randy very rigid and fixed on his approach and his way. Guys got in his doghouse and never got out. I'd be concerned about how flexible he'd be this time around, given how much the LB has changed over the years and how poor that unit was last year.
Ideally, we need someone who is a good teacher and is patient. Guys like Huff, Sam Brooks, Cave, Troutman, Flagg . . . all young, all talented . . . but not a lot of reps.
