Rambo last 5 games

I guess I just don’t see how that’s gonna happen

I mean he’s gonna get taller and faster?

I think if anything there’s more risk to come back. I mean this is a pretty huge boom season for him don’t you think?

Risking injury and whatnot seems like a bad idea when his stock is high

He came here and accomplished exactly what he intended *shrug
Exactly. He’s not a day two (or later) pick because of lack of production. First round receivers are usually freak athletes and playing another year here, no matter how productive, isn’t going to make him 6’4” or his 40 time 4.3.

He’s improved his game significantly from his time at OU. Even during his “good” year there, he wasn’t tracking deep balls and making contested catches on the regular like he has here (thanks, Greg Likens). He’s put everything on tape that he possibly could. I’d love him to stick around but it’s not going to improve his draft stock.

We struck gold with him in portal and imagine what 2023 receivers we sign that massive class

Dude is one of the most skilled receivers I have seen here at Miami. He isnt out there just blowing guys doors off but is wrecking zones and using his body at different times throughout the route to slow the defender down and get that last second separation. He really seems to be a master out there clowning kids. All Tyler has to do is see the defenders back and let it rip. I would love to hear him talk about his progression as a receiver from one school to the next, because if Likens is teaching this shiat then dude needs to stay.

He's turning it up for sure.

The most impressive thing to me is his concentration and hands. He's making some very tough catches with regularity. I remember reading that his hands weren't that consistent when he was at OU. Man has he ever fixed that problem.

2nd team all-Acc
ACC is deeeeep af this year.. Addison is on a tear all season.. Wicks and Downs have been balling too, outta the wood werks the ACC became a passing league this year, who woulda thunk..

He’s exactly what you’re looking for when you draw up a WR at this level. Not talking a Heisman candidate but he does everything well. He’s got good enough size, and good enough speed. But a lot of kids have that. Dee Wiggins had that. What I’m getting at when I say he’s the total package is he understands the nuances of the position and he’s great at making contested catches. Anybody can run by a defense and catch the ball. Ok, maybe not everybody, as we’ve seen. But there are a lot of kids who can.

What separates him is the play he made on the right sideline on Saturday night. The ball by TVD was excellent, but he didn’t have much separation. But with the ball in the air and the defender on his inside hip, he slowed down just a touch, causing the defender to slow, then just a small nudge with the shoulder/forearm to create separation without OPI, and a clean catch on the sideline for about a 30-40 yard gain. There aren’t a lot of kids who are that polished and confident. There is just zero panic, he creates separation; and finishes the play. Kid is really good.

Correct. I mean Hurns put up historic #’s here & he went as a UDFA. He’s putting up **** numbers, but the NFL don’t go by **** numbers. Hawaii QBs were breaking NCAA records & it meant chit. Unless he’s smoking the 40 at a sub 4.3 range (and he’s not), his measurables won’t get him a day one or two grade. Plus, his hands r still inconsistent. I’m just enjoying him, and happy at his production.

He has been really good, especially in the past few games..

Big time breakout season for him and takes him from fringe draftable prospect to a really solid player that could go Day 2 if things break right for him.

31% marketshare of yards, 27% marketshare of receptions...would like to see more touchdowns for the trifecta breakout...but he's been nice.

I lol watching him play sometimes, dude just makes people miss left and right
