Quit with the Kaaya crap....

Guys quit blaming the staff when the ball is in his hand. It's been constant on 3rd downs and when game is on line. Show me the game or plays I've missed. Does coaching suck, sure but you cannot tell me he makes pressure throws. As soon as D gets pressure on him he quits stepping into throws. 2nD worse in NATION on 3rd downs and that was against BCU, FAU and Nebraska. C'mon guys your hoping for something that isn't there. He is good but not anything special.

I get your point but to be fair we have been terrible on 3rd down since Golden has arrived here. Morris was bad on 3rd too.

I'll laugh at this thread next year when he's a 1st round pick under a competent OC. Y'all miss the point

I will take that bet all day. I just have to ask what you are seeing to think that...
Does he move his feet well?
Does he makes plays when pressure is on?
Does he put too much air under ball on deep ball?
Does he miss wide open WR's because he is scarred to get hit?

If you want to break down film, I can do that with you

There's no way he's checking the plays at the line. He's looking to the sideline every snap. Hes not gonna check out of a play into a draw on 3rd and 6. That's all coaching

He's got **** to work on but he is FAR from being the issue.

Why is he CONSTANTLY in the pistol? Regular ole' shotgun gives us a better chance at a run game.

Any team in the country would take him. He is last on our list of problems.

Morris wasn't a good player either. He is NFL because has strong arm and is on the cheap. When he's at year 4 and teams need to pay him more he will not be on team or practice squad.

Imagine if somebody like Lane Kiffen was the OC and then ask yourself if you think you'd be seeing the same problems. Kaaya is doing his best to run an offense that has almost zero continuity and consistency in its design.

Coleys offense is kindergarten ****, judging Kaaya based on that is wrong imo.

Why would you use Kiffin as an example? He is awful.

But agree, need to see Kaaya with a real staff. Was dying when Golden told Coley to slow the pace.

I said OC, not head man. He's one of the brightest offensive minds in football and consistently makes great use of his players on that side. ****** head coach but you'd be hard pressed to find a better OC imo.

I can agree with the premise of what your saying. I am not a Kaaya superfan. I think he has a LOT of work to do. He looks primary and instantly dumps it down. and with that mentality his completion pct should be much higher than it is. I do think there is a LOT of potential there. But I think they route combinations SUCK. They are so bad that the Wr can't get any separation. that last route Dobard made should have been run by a MUCH quicker player. Maybe Herndon, or Njoku. Just not a good job of putting players in positions to succeed. The routes are so blatant that the wr never have a chance EVEN if the throw is right there. There is a serious shortcoming on behalf of the staff. Ole Tommy T out coached the **** out of AG and Co. tonight. I will give the D credit though. Other than the first quarter and the last two mins of the half and game, the D was OK. If we had done ANYTHING offensively with the 5 or 6 stops we had than this would have taken a much different turn.

Dude has to deal with some of the worst route trees and 3rd down calls in the nation but leave it to the hand-waivers to try to misdirect away from the coaching staff. "Kaaya torpedoing thread in 3...2...1..." may as well have be pinned to the top of this forum after every loss hereafter.

Your searching something without any facts. I'm still waiting for someone to show me facts instead of excuses. Again a good player, yes good. But to be an elite team in college football (majority of the time) you need an elite QB. Period. You can get away with many other weak areas when the QB can hide those problems.

Why does FSU go from being a great O to average? Did Jimbo quit making good calls or does the QB with the ball in his hands not make the big play? Why does Oregon go from a high scoring team to now unranked? Lost a QB that made big plays.

I somewhat disagree...Kaaya should have put that ball more up around his head when he has the bigger player. Instead he puts it right where the DB has chance to make play.

Its interesting how poor coaching only effects certain players on our team. Coley is a disastrous OC how ******* good can he be at developing QBs?

The playing call has been horrible since he been here.... We were inside the redzone 4 or 5 times and we threw the ball into the endzone 1 f_cking time....................... The coaches f_cking suck.......

The same clowns who thought Al's defense was going to be different, or that we were somehow going to be better despite losing all our best players, are the ones trashing Kaaya.

Brad Kaaya on USC would be in a national championship game, and a first round pick. He's an absolute stud.

What do you MORONS not understand about the fact that this coaching staff is the worst in the country? James Coley is the kids QB coach. HES THE WORST COACH IVE EVER SEEN AT MIAMI.

James Coley, a loyal Jimbo soldier, an FSU alum, was NOT PERMITTED TO CALL PLAYS there. He also wasn't the QB coach. Brad Kaaya is a stud in the hands of the worst possible mentors in FBS. I feel truly bad for him......
