Question for the people who went to the game vs Tech

The roof makes a big difference. It was very loud. This Saturday will be insane loud.

I know I’m in the minority but I don’t think it’s going to be as long. There will be 20k Nd fans at least. Will definitely cut down on the sound.

Neuheisel predicts 50% of crowd will be ND fans. Hope not.
I predict his ******** is only 50% recovered from the 2001 train ride we gave that weak-*** Husky team.

Just checked and it showed a little over 2,400 tickets with a little over 10,000 viewing but maybe it hasn't updated. I'm sure there will be more up posted up until near kickoff

Also, the VT game was the loudest I've ever heard at the Rock and it's not close. Right up with the OB, the best part was during their possessions and particularly 3rd down it got louder and then louder.....I was surprised (happily)

StubHub reps are well versed in trying to create a false sense of urgency in potential buyers.

That said, prices for good seats are off the charts right now. The same seats I paid $250 a ticket for the Va Tech game last week are going for $350 this week for the domer game.

The place was definitely live but far from what the OB used to be back in the day. There is a certain gheyness to the new millennium game that cannot be explained exactly.

* Never do I remember people in the Orange Bowl screaming at other fans to sit down. Now a days thats a regular occasion.

* There were several times where the stadium would start to get rockin', then go to a TV commercial break and the fans were still into it only to have some stupid trivia contest come on the TV screens that would force everyone to sit and be quiet. There should be NONE OF THAT **** for big time night games. Honoring long time season ticket-holders and various trivia game bull**** is for noon games against teams that al golden beat. In big games the focus should remain on the game until halftime and/or maybe the quarter breaks.

In regards to the games, let's discuss those two bozos that sucked at the "name this city" game. Props to that kid who made the field goal. Also I miss the brother jimmy's dance off where we could all yell "put some south in your mouth" I also miss the WALGREENS REDZONE

Yeah, my extra tickets for VT sold for $95. Literally a minute after that game ended the ND ones sold for $250, they're now at $400! That's per ticket.

Shiiiiit. I was at the Toledo game which was not even close to packed and that was way louder than how the stadium used to be (live in cinci now and that was my first time back in HR after the renovations.). The heat and humidity also gets trapped down there, at least in the stands the field could be different since thats where the opening is and that was a day game.

Haha. That kid did crush that FG. Probably would've been good from 35 yds.

"I'm telling you that VT game had a different atmosphere, it was magical, made you feel like you were at the Orange Bowl"

OMG - A true sign of the coming apocalypse had to be those two moran kids who were doing that guessing game. The kid had no idea how to give a clue for the Grand Canyon. Even worse was that he passed on the Empire State building. Everything people say about millennials was on display with those two dip sticks. lol

No problem with the games in questions during timeouts gets the fans involved and gives you a break from screaming(believe it or not but after 4 hours of screaming “ohhhhhhhh!!!!!!!” Those slight pauses of entertainment are kinda nice .

Also the the remix of fresh prince for the university medical school is terrible. My girlfriend worked at a low budget medical clinic out of college selling stem cells and the doctor who used the same song to draw in patients used a camera phone was 100 times better lyrically and visually then UMs high budget commercial promotion of the medical university. Please someone improve this.

nah dude I'm a millennial and I can definitely describe the grand canyon as more than "it's a big hole in the ground that a lot of people drive to." I'd chalk it up 1. them being bad contestants and 2. them folding under pressure. Still fun to watch though lol. Oh yeah I also loved the "how many movies can you name?" and the kid is like "rush hour 1, rush hour 2, rush hour 3" I woulda died if he jsut started rattling off all of the police academy movies, or pornos
