Kidding aside, why go to fsu then if on board or keep “negotiating” in public if there is even a slight theoretical chance it might help your future team close recruits or other transfers.

Because he got paid to go visit. Gets X amount to enjoy a trip for free. Things he wasn’t recruited highly enough before to do.

My guess would be as a courtesy to maintain leverage.

I don’t know why it’s turned into this show.

If I did, I wouldn’t be worried about it.

This year, I’ve been told that:

+ We had Scott and Stewart in the bag in the summer.
+ That with a good enough season (10-wins), Ellis was Miami’s to lose.
+ Dawson was going to bounce right after the season was over.
+ Jacurri Brown was leaving at the end of the season (portal)
+ Zion Nelson would leave after the spring last season.
+ Citizen would get snaps against BC and in the bowl game.

Almost all of them are wrong. I’ve made it a point to stop posting because I was being fed what essentially was propaganda.

That sounds like you think it was deliberately deceptive info as opposed to just things changed and went the other way. If so, what's the motivation/purpose behind it?
