He ran for almost 700 yards in 9 games, two of those games pulled in the first quarter.

There are three names to monitor at quarterback: Will Mencl (Chandler, AZ), Davin Davidson (Sarasota, FL) and Israel Abrams (Chicago, IL). Davidson has been on campus and Mencl and Abrams have visits on deck. It's still too early to call this one, as the visits are key and the QB position is always subject to dominoes falling at other schools. But these are the names in play right now.​

Recruiting is about to kick into high gear with a flurry of spring visits on deck. Here is the latest:

Davidson has been on campus and Mencl and Abrams have visits on deck. Davin Davidson

Davidson loved his time at 305 Day earlier this month and will be back on campus this coming weekend. Davidson plans to make a decision shortly after the visit.....Florida has been gaining a lot of buzz recently.​

Will Mencl

Miami is a dark horse in this recruitment.....The Ducks have the overwhelming lead...and will get his last visit before he makes an April decision.​

Israel Abrams

It took all of one minute with Top 100 Lombard (Ill.) Montini Catholic quarterback Israel Abrams for me to realize he would be a fantastic fit at Miami.​

Abrams is arguably the most exciting option on the board and a very realistic possibility....Auburn had early momentum, but things have slowed down there. Purdue picked up some buzz but is obviously an inferior program.​

Abrams will spend four days at UM....plans to make a decision soon after the trip ends.​

Peter Bourque

People are sleeping on this recruitment

Bourque will make a visit to Miami on Thursday and has high interest going into the trip......Bourque also has a lot of family in South Florida and a cousin who was a cheerleader for the Canes last season.​

I think its a clear sign that both Davidson and Abrams will decide shortly after visiting Miami. Similarly, Mencl will decide after visiting Oregon. Those schools likely are the respective favorites going into the visit but they probably want/need confirmation that the school considers them a priority.
