cause or just for losing next year if he doesn't have significantly better record !
While Texas Longhorns are breathing a sign of relief that they didn't hire Fraiklin who was accused of coddling rapists, http://www.hornsports.com/forums/topic/9530-be-glad-we-didnt-hire-james-franklin/ the folks at PSU truly have eggs in their faces for hiring Franklin instead of Al Golden whose Vanderbilt players have just been convicted of ALL charges related to raping a young lady. http://www.usatoday.com/story/sport...erdict-guilty-rape-vandenburg-batey/22430567/
Certainly, this is an indictment of James Franklin as well, as he didn't pull an Al Golden move in swiftly kicking these rapists off the team.
While PSU may not have wanted to hire Al Golden since he solicited funds for disgraced Penn State rapist & DC Jerry Sandusky, one wonders how PSU officials feel now that the coach they hired testified in his players trial (while some say not totally truthfully) trial in which they were convicted of rape.
I predict that if Franklin pulls another 4 games losing streaking and another 6-6 regular record he will fired. If he is not fully successful next year, that is winning at less than 10 games, he will be let go... and if one former leading candidate has a successful record at his current University, he will be offered that PSU job that he so covets. Now, shall we root that he wins out next year since this would certainly help out in that he leaves after 2015 on his accord?
