Interesting commentary by the chair. He mentioned that he asked the entire committee to rewatch the Miami Notre Dame game. Looks like once they rewatch that game, that was a wrap from Notre Dame. I think people forgot how easily we handle them throughout the game despite the close score.

There was a fork in the road after the SMU loss, Mario did everything i would've hoped for and more from that point on. Im hard on the guy but I honestly think he turned a corner (long-term) after that game. He did an amazing, amazing job.

Imagine where we'd be if we dropped another game which everyone knew was highly possible? I'm so glad how it turned out.

Also, not to take away from the positivity as I also agree Mario did an incredible job lobbying for Miami....but Rad needs to be canned immediately. He is utterly ******* useless and passive. We need an aggressive, proactive AD (especially with expansion) and Rad is mentally retired. Also, fire Him Phillips, if the refs and/or tiebreaker were taken care of we wouldn't have had to sweat through this whole thing.

Regardless of how this season ends, Nov 1, 2025 has to be a turning point in how Mario approaches games. All I ask for is continued evolution from him. To his credit, it has looked different since the second half of the Cuse game...
