Pro Day 2019

And more than half his playing career he was on the sidelines.

Talent wise, he's a top 50 pick, and I believe someone will take a chance on him. He is far better than a 3rd round pick, in my opinion.
I agree, but he will fall in the draft because teams will want to get value out of drafting him (i.e. 3rd or 4th round pick with 1st or 2nd round talent.

Yes, but if the scouts can't see you in action along side your peers, it's less data to evaluate for a guy that had 1 really good year. That's just how the NFL works.
I think more than ability, or lack of game film, it's the issues that caused him to have such little game film that will keep his draft grade down. Talent wise, he's a first rounder. I see a playoff caliber team drafting him late in the 2nd round, because they know he won't be around late in the third. He's just too talented to fall past early 3rd. When they see his game film, even though there isn't a ton of it, they will see him making a heck of a lot of big stops. In fact, I have seen DL with 4 years of film with less made plays than what Willis made in just one.

I would say unfortunately Choc will dtill be undrafted but with that speed and his heart he needs tp go somewhere where he'll get a legit chance to play but I love this time

I’ll gladly draft him in the last round or take a flyer on him as an UDFA for ST’s on my Jags. Front office is always enamored with speed.

My thinking is if Eric Swoopes was able to hang around on a practice squad for several years. Choc has a good chance....

Hopefully Quan can get his time down to the mid 4.6 range. I disagree with you on Willis. After the type of season Willis had, he shouldn't be projected as a round 3 prospect. He's better than that. Willis needs to generate some draft buzz so he can be a top 60 pick.
I'm not saying he shouldn't be higher, I think this guy is a future pro bowler. That is why I am not concerned with his draft stock. He will be a steal if he falls to the 4th round and I hope the Lions get him! Haha

Thoughts on yesterday:

Willis - Had a dominant year, testing was good, but the off-field stuff might make him too risky to go in the Top 50

Joe Jackson - Testing wasn't great, but similar to Chad Thomas who went early 3rd last year & Jackson was more productive. I don't see him slipping past the 3rd

Jaquan - So much for skipping the combine and just running at Pro Day. He ran even worse. I have a hard time seeing him go before the 6th

Gray - Great 40 time, don't think he'll get drafted, but should solidify him getting a UFA look. He had chances to play under 2 different staffs and never did - which I always thought was weird.

Choc ran an official 4.37 in the 40!!!!

Some team is going to pick him up. A coach like Belichick will know how to use all that speed and size.

Choc will make an NFL roster. Worst case he is a nightmare on special teams. He can be the gunner and the returner.

I think that a team that likes to pound the rock will pick up Choc. He has too good of physical skills to pass up. I'm rooting for him and all the Canes!!!

Joe Jackson, Willis, Homer, JJ, MJ and Redwine are all very good players and athletes that should perform well at the NFL level. My opinion is Joe Jackson will have the best NFL career. I believe he can go the way as Calais Campbell. Had a solid college career, pretty sure Jackson is more accomplished especially after 3yrs. Develop into a monster NFL player because he is tough with a great work ethic.

He's getting drafted ahead of Jaquan and will go earlier than most think. Wouldn't be shocked if he's a 3rd rounder. He's a very good prospect. Teams are going love him as a corner...some are going to think he's a starting quality safety...and some teams are going to see him as a nickel FS/CB hybrid thats taking over on more teams.
