Pro Day 2019

I was thinking the same thing. It sounds like the field at the combine was faster. Joe Jackson really screwed himself by not running in Indy.

JJ is stiff an not as fluid as say a Garvin. I think he put on too much thickness to his frame. He played TE in HS but it didn’t translate in college and now

Teams probably care much more about Jackson's first 10 yards than his 40. He looked pretty explosive and had nice get-off during actual games.

I wouldn't worry. DE is definitely deep this year, though.

That was my first thought as well, but I don't think you can justify taking carries away from Homer last year, kid did everything asked of him and typically always produced ...when they actually blocked for him.
Exactly. Who are you taking off the field? Homer? Walton? DeeJay?
The coaches knew Choc was fast, but he was stiff as ****. They did their best to get him on the field it just didn't work out.

Willis has been receiving terrible advice from his agents (you know who they are). He had a chance to slide into the 3rd round, but ever step along the way has been wrong for him. This coupled with teams digging in on his tape has him in a free fall.

I can see the legend of Gray still continues on here.... When will people learn that he just wasn’t that good? Sure he runs fast in a straight line. Doesn’t mean he’s a good football player.

Sounds like a 10yr special teams player. That’s when it helps to run fast straight

It's too bad that football isn't just a game where you give the guy the ball and tell him to just run straight. Gray would be an all-star. His problems come up when he tries to change directions. Agility is not his friend. But with his size and speed, he stands as good a chance as anyone to make a team. Good luck to him.

I think a bunch of guys on here would be all stars if that was the case.

Screens, Draws, Short passes, Some GL/short yardage (not just as a FB), .... something. I know he is stiff and not the best when it comes to going East/West, but ****. You try and get that guy on the field somewhere. Now if he can't catch and/or he has problems hanging on to the football, then I understand.
