Pringle is NOT IN THE portal ANYMORE

I never asked for more Pringle. I think he earned reps, but I'm not mad either way. I just know pass blocking is a terrible excuse to keep a running back from playing running back.
So you recommend keeping a running back in the game on passing downs when a defense brings 6-7 guys?

What’s your theory?
I like pringle but this ain't it, this ain't FSU where our players are going to enter the portal and try to milk the team. that's not the culture here at The U

he wants to do that let him walk man, we got Mallory anyways - it would be nice to have that smaller change of speed RB but hopefully Lyle stays but he's not as quick as Pringle. anyways I don't think Mario should take him back after he publicly entered the portal, should have been done in house

I don't know anything about his family or him talking sh^t.

I'm not saying that he isn't good and doesn't deserve more carries, he can improve as a pass blocker.

I think the coaches felt in this situation and what we were doing offensively. That Fletch and Brown were the work horses with a non existent passing game for the most part. It didn't help he got folded like a lawn chair in the aTm game trying to block.

Maybe he thought he locked the spot up after Fletch got hurt.

I love Fletcher, and he was really a revelation in the playoffs. That was the best stretch of football he's ever played. That said, he's a physical, punishing back who's had his fair share of injuries. His style lends itself to nicks and bruises. I would love for Pringle to come back to have 1(a) and 1(b). Because the rest of the room is a question mark. Lyle was quite a disappointment this year and I have no idea what we have in any incoming freshman, and I imagine CWH is considering portal too (just my speculation).

Brown is a 100% load carrying NFL back? His 3.9 ypc earned that title? **** that's crazy

Pringle was not at all just a long house call Runner lmao. Did y'all even watch when he ran the ball?
Brown came in during a clutch drive and executed. People were harping about Fletchers YPC early in the year too.

Brown needs touches the same way Fletch does.

Comparing both backs is asinine though as they are both completely different types of players. It’s like the Kobe and Lebron comparisons.

I never said he can't play or shouldn't have gotten reps. I'm saying that there was a reason they pulled him.

And it's not like Marty Brown didn't capitalize on the situation. He finished the Cotton Bowl. He had runs vs Ole Miss.

I would've liked to see Pringle get targets out of the backfield cause he's a mismatch he didn't exploit.

But to say there wasn't a reason why he got yanked, is ******* stupid.

Getting yanked from situations where pass protection is necessary is one thing. Never seeing the field again in any capacity is another.

Nobody is saying he's the only one.

But Fletcher and Brown are more proven and have had more success is pass protection.

Get out of your feelings.
No one is acknowledging that he isnt the only one. The same response 50 times is did you see the A&M block. He is just the only one that shouldn’t play because of it. Lol if he reverses course on the portal, that A&M game will become a lot less relevant. Just call a spade a spade. He was odd man out. Fletcher missed blocks. but he was averaging 120 so no one gave a ****.

I agree. I think he could've been used out of the back field and getting targets. He's still a freshman. He's learning. This is becoming more than it needs to be.

Funny that only Pringle missed a block this post season. You guys are legit dorks. 🤣
Dorks are the ones making excuses for a young man getting bad advice and making poor decisions.

This is why so many people/players are soft.

Zero accountability.

Dude can’t block for ****. He could have worked his *** off to fix it and forced his way in the field.

Instead he punked out. Dudes like this are a dime a dozen.

My gripe wasn't even the A&M game, it was the cotton bowl lol

The rotation became him and Fletcher for the last month of the season. So it's 2 man rotation. When Marty Brown came in for Pringle in the cotton bowl, he took advantage, did he not? lol so they rocked with Fletch and Marty.

IMO, this isn't a reason to go into the portal. Nor for his family to be saying things publicly.

The fact that the same people who would have hated to see Emory Williams as our QB are willing to let a TRUE FRESHMAN RB get snaps and get Beck killed is beyond me.

Zero critical thinking skills and lack of leadership/management is obvious with a lot on here.

Fletcher nearly doubled his season total in 4 games. If that is the production we get from him next season then the Pringle departure is moot. He didn't play enough for me to be invested.
