Pringle is NOT IN THE portal ANYMORE

"Aside from Girard Pringle coming back, I am also of the understanding that Marty Brown is sticking around. Miami will have all three of their top running backs from 2025 again in 2026 as confidence remains high that Mark Fletcher will be back as well."

Man, if Pringle can level up....This offense is going to be really scary.

What’s worse is their Safeties were shockingly slow. Go ahead and have the sickness I have to rewatch their #7 try to get angles. Sincerely still stings. Luckily, the portal has distracted me from watching more and more.

Don't know if it makes you feel any better, but sometimes faster safeties are also terrible and just run themselves out of position quicker. Look at FSU's DBs, they are almost always some of the fastest in the game, but have been terrible for years and years now. Probably better to have slower, more fundamentally sound guys

You just described Jaden Harris and our 2024 season, so no, sir, I don’t feel better.

Definitely not better to have slower Safeties. Ha. Being a sound Safety is a requirement. I don’t mind having Safeties who lack long speed, but you have to move well in short areas. This is the position I played and still watch/study. There’s a lot that goes into being a solid Safety depending on your team’s coverages.

Indiana’s safeties were a vulnerability we did not sufficiently attack.

It was on tape, but decently hidden because they sink like crazy. But, yeah, check out Fletcher’s long run. I was shocked when #7 just couldn’t get there. We did them a favor by playing underneath their zone. I think gave them too much respect. What are you gonna do. I’ll lose my mind if I keep rewatching. It felt like a once in a lifetime opportunity
Beck was terrible at taking shots downfield, his arm is a wet noodle. He is unable to drive the ball and he knows it thats why he rarely pulls the trigger. The game ending pick Marion is open, Beck sees it, steps into the throw and is 10yds short. He couldn't even make a 40-45yd throw.

Incredible job of internal recruiting and roster management.

Completely agree. But now that he's back we can all stop pretending that Miami's system is perfect for Pringle. Mario is always going to favour big backs that move the pile. I dont have an issue with it. The last two seasons it's worked.

Pringle is a change of pace back unless he can add weight, improve his balance and maintain his speed.
