Pringle is NOT IN THE portal ANYMORE

Tough loss cause he brought another gear.

Understand it though. He could possibly start at many other schools than run more spread. He better be smart with his selection cause he could get buried on a depth chart at his next stop if he isn’t careful.

With fletch coming back it seals up RB1. The thing is you need at least 4 who can take a carry due to the long season now.

Will be interesting to see what Brown and Lyle do. Mallory might see snaps as a freshman.

No, it limits the structure on what you can run. And Pringle isn't an athletic outlier like Hester where it didn't matter.

Starting to hate this sentence with every passing day. Creativity is nice when everyone can do the basic ****. If you can't do the basic ****, don't get creative.

Yeah, you can - by having them to learn basic fundamentals that enable them to play more.

Y'all act as if there is no reason for Pringle not to play. I can run end arounds or reverses with multiple players on this team not named Pringle and they can still execute the fundamentals well enough to run a regular play instead of the trick play.

Pringle will have to learn how to pass protect anyway. If you believe he transfers out because he doesn't get 5-6 snaps a game based on trick or gadget plays solely designed for him, **** no. He's leaving because he was promised a bigger role somewhere else - and he'll find out that he'll have to learn the fundamentals of his position regardless of where he's at.

Trader is athletically more gifted than almost all of the receivers on this roster. I don't see anyone in here trying to force him the ball on specific plays. I wonder why that's the case...
And I’m tired of hearing pass protection. Jahmyr gybbs isn’t good at pass protection. So you wouldn’t want him to play? The saints wasn’t bringing sproles in the game to pass protect. If you have guys with ability that can help you find a way to use that. The offense wasn’t good enough to not use valuable pieces

Pringle ran between the tackles better than I thought he would
I love Pringle but I am going to keep it real. If he is the best back, prove it. Go take Fletch, Lyle and Brown position. If not, take his a** somewhere else.

If he feels he is that good, see them on the field. Tucking your tail and running means you are not Miami material.

Someone apparently skipped the part where I said "athletic outlier", which Gibbs and Sproles are and not Pringle. The even funnier part is that Sproles was decent in pass protection because he knew where to go, whilst Gibbs lack of pass protection ability is the perfect proof why running backs who can't pass protect should not play as much until they have it figured out.

But I can only laugh at people comparing NFL running backs in pass protection to college runningback backups. If you're below average in pass protection in the NFL, you're above average in college. So there's that.

Keep believing that Pringle is like Gibbs or Sproles. Nowhere near as athletic, quick, fast, strong or reliable with high-volume. The love affair some people have with players who need serious development to become consistent contributors never fails to blow my mind.

He is an athletic outlier and especially compared to the other rbs. The dude ran a 10.56 100m and you talking like he is slow. It’s no love affair. It’s about not using weapons that you have. The kid gave the offense a spark late in the season when the offense and running game was trash

You are always going to lose someone to the portal that hurts. Losing guys after the portal closes really stings. Such a ****** timeline.

Cool. Was the 100 meter with the pads on? Cause that 10.56 never showed up on the football field.

People need to realize that if you are good you will play. It’s that simple. Our offense was not elite because of our running game. Better play at QB and receivers was what held us back.

Of course I want to selfishly hoard all the talent..lol But I would fear playing Fletch and Brown over Pringle any day.

Losing him sucks was looking forward to the thunder lightning, but word on the street Mallory is the real deal

Nobody clamored for more snaps for Pringle when we ran over Ohio State and Ole Miss. Not a single soul even mentioned him and now he's this unreplaceable dude?

People need to stop bending knees to kids who run away from competition and development to go somewhere else and blame the coaches. Take that Uncle Luke energy somewhere else...

Brown averages 3.8 ypc

I'm slamming F5 waiting for Bauman and all I get is Pringle.

f5 GIF

If this dude was more patient and had a sick offseason to strengthen his body more he could be RB1. National media were talking up our offense next season with Fletch/Pringle tandem being a threat.

He did lead the team in ypc. And it’s kind of hard to break long runs in this system. You acting like I said start the guy. He showed enough that you can use him as a change of pace. Use him how they did vs ncstate and pitt. Give him some outside runs and get him involved in the pass game

What outside runs? He cuts everything back inside. He got outside runs, he pushes everything back middle. It's even in his ******* scouting profile from HS lmao

And for the 851st time, you cannot involve someone in the passing game if they can't block a ******* lick...

Try and retain him of course but we'll be fine either way.

We'll be better at QB & WR next year and the RB3 isn't going to touch the rock unless it's mop up time.
