Pringle is NOT IN THE portal ANYMORE

If this is true, I hope he never wears a cane uniform. The team made an historic run in the playoffs and they were worried about playing time?

Fletcher who was the star of the playoffs did not start the last two seasons and was never the featured back. The year he would have been the featured back, he openly recruited for Martinez to come. He played his role as a backup.

At the start of the season he was again the backup but was a team guy. When his number was called during the playoffs he stepped up and made himself a household name.

Statistics don’t tell the entire story. Marty is complete. Pringle isn’t.
Also your sample size is literally 2x for Marty brown. Also how many of his carries were on 3rd and short in a condensed box ? That alone reduces your avg vs Pringle who never got any due to his size.

Stats never fully show the truth, they are a guide and need to be understood with full context.

Its not the main thing when evaluating a RB but its still important. Some of it can be taught. Some of it is effort. We gave Pringle burn against Taint and he missed blocks and his one carry went down easy on an arm tackle. You know **** well if he was just serviceable as a blocker and broke a run he would have gotten more burn. Bottom line is he got a chance in that game and the moment looked too big for him. He's a true freshman so that is to be expected but its wild that him and his people don’t see that and are just gonna take their ball and go home.
No actually I don't know that, cause he's not a 'big boy'

**** that's crazy you can trust a guy and he CAN ACTUALLY DELIVER SUPERIOR PRODUCTION in important games to actually get us to the playoffs, and another RB can fumble in those high leverage situations, but the mere possibility of a RB having to make a 1 on 1 pass pro block eliminates him from being able to receive any snaps.... Lmao.

So youre telling me he can't go on the field for a 1st down drive get a carry, and on a pass play be sent out for a route instead of being in to block? Youre telling me we have to have Useless *** Bauman running a route instead of in to block and are unable to send Pringle out for a route? **** that's crazy bud.

Pringle is the person who really opened up our run game mid to late in the season. He had a far larger hand of Getting us to the playoffs than Brown did. And we couldn't find him any playoff snaps to the point where he portals out?

Smfh
Run game looked **** good without him against actual teams with a pulse in the playoffs so what’s your point?

So guys can't come in rotationally at all then huh. Lmao. Y'all sound so dumb about this. Indiana literally didn't even like try to pressure us 90% of the time. And you know what was working on Running against them? Outside runs.

Pringle was BY FAR a better runner than Brown, and that should be obvious to anyone who watches football. So because Pringle is put it it means your automatically gonna give up a sack of you run a pass play? What if the RB goes out for a route? That acceptable?
unfortunately we don't throw to the rb... don't use them for screens either

I remember the reason he was in was because Fletcher was hurt and we were playing ****** teams. Same thing with Lyle last year. Produce against lower level teams. And nothing wrong with that but to be entitled to think you should be starting or getting as many carries as Fletcher????????????? Come on. Good luck to the kid. Grass isnt always greener.
Have you ever talked to these kids? Lol.. There are posters quoting family saying why he not playing, believe me if you have family gassing your head up and they dont know ball they dont understand why you can get carries against some mid ACC teams then when playoffs come its time for your upperclassmen to show out..

Believe me, I feel same way, kid has to know his role but when you getting other schools gassing you up, and family telling you, you should play.. Easy tampering target

Some late-night news coming out of Coral Gables.

Miami Hurricanes sophomore running back Girard Pringle Jr. is entering the NCAA transfer portal, first reported by On3.

Pringle didn’t start for the Hurricanes during his freshman season, but he still managed to put together a solid year in Miami’s backfield. He finished the season with 62 carries for 375 yards and four touchdowns.

A member of Miami’s 2025 recruiting class, Pringle came to Coral Gables as a highly regarded prospect. He was ranked as the No. 151 overall player nationally and the No. 8 player in the state of Florida.

Now, Pringle will look for a fresh start elsewhere as he enters the portal.

Wherever he ends up, you can’t help but root for the kid.

Go be great, Girard.

No one is saying taking lots of snaps from Fletch! He needs to rest anyway at some point.

Like I said. How about taking out #87 (not Mentioning his name anymore) and playing Pringle with Fletcher, Toney, etc.

There are packages you can put together.
Lol they are packages we HAVE put in lol

I thought this dumb narrative died during the playoffs.

There is a reason coaches emphasize pass blocking for backs. It can win or lose games. Running ability is a separator, but there needs to be a level of trust to play high-leverage snaps.
Do they emphasize it for punts?! Charmar tag team with 87?!
