Pretty good article about Charlie Strong

First the back and forth over how ****ty Gorlden was...then about when he should be fired, then about how wanting him fired made people not fans, now Strong is bad because he is black at Texas, but would be good cuz he is black at Miami. I swear the majority of this fan base had parents who were related before marriage

Homie Keith Brown from Miami Norland said he preferred a black coach. Never read that anywhere in regards to Bridgewater.

Not possible to do worse, given that he's staring at a 4-8 record.

There is no reasonable explanation for UM to hire a guy with back-to-back losing seasons. I can't believe people are entertaining this guy as our head coach. Just inconceivable.

This guy is imploding as bad as I've ever seen at a major college program and many posters want to bring him in.

He would be better at Miami then he was at Lousiville... recruiting under the Miami banner and he would recruit better there than he did at Florida. That is undeniable.

Anyone who doesn't get this is just in denial.

Miami can out talent people when the right guy is in there recruiting. Butch did it and he is an average game day coach. Anyone who says different is 1000% in denial or flat out cant remember when he coached.

If you want to say Charlie cant develop then look at his UF talent in the NFL and then tell me how 10 of his first recruiting class at Louisville are now playing on Sundays.

He is one of the main reasons Golden couldnt get all the talent he needed and he is one of the main reasons recruiting slipped out of Randys hands and into UF's while Randy was the head coach. Randy wasn't the only black coach in town and Randy was full of himself and hard nose disciplinarian.

If Strong got fired and got hired at UCF it could be disastrous for Miami.

If a guy can't win with an 8 win squad at Texas, he def can't win at Miami. His recruiting is **** without his bagman Clint, and his corching is among the worst in FBS.

If we bring this guy in, the fanbase will explode instantly with rage.

"Fit" is the new geek talk when a guy they supported fails somewhere and they want to keep their internet genius tag alive. "Oh, yeah. I still think he's a very good HC. He just wasn't a good fit at ______". Fcking nerds can't just admit the guy they thought was good turned out to be a flop.

I thought ******* was a good hire at Texas. He proved me wrong. He crapped the sheets at the P5 level, so I've moved on and am happy we didn't take the bullet Texas took. These dopey heel-digging nerds would rather have UM hire another flop than admit they were wrong about *******.

Another great new move with the "I gotta keep my fake rep alive" geeks is "he's not in my top 5, but we could do worse". They say that **** about every candidate. That way, if the guy fails they can say "I told you he wasn't in my top 5." If he succeeds they can say "I always thought he was very good. I just had a few guys higher."

Who were those guys you had higher? "Yeah. Mmm hmm."

Defensive genius with a defense ranked in the 100s in his 2nd season at a marquee program.

Recruiting genius with a class ranked in the 50s in a recruiting hotbed.

Texas fans are dying to get rid of him.

What's a UM say? Bring him on. Fcking Fred Sanfords of fandom.

This I can support. I'm weary as **** of Charlie Strong and not only because of what's going on at UT. I would be surprised if he didn't get another year (or half of a season) from UT, though.
