Cant figure out how good they are based on their first couple opponents, but it’s a bad matchup. However I don’t think they are good, but neither is this team.

Head says 24-13 MSU
Heart says we squeak out another ugly win 21-20

Their offense isn't some dynamic offense that can put up points against any and everyone.

We might not be as physical as they are defensively but we'll be the fastest team they've seen thus far this season. We'll limit their plays to the edge, their inside game is what will cause problems for us.
 
Here's hoping they don't run UNC level train on us... they have good RBs and an OL that the opposite of our lineup of Jenga blocks upfront.
 
They got smacked by the following teams last year.

Rutgers 38-27
Iowa 49-7
Indiana 24-0
OSU 52-12
Pedo State 39-24

In their 2 wins they didn't score 30 points in either.

So not sure where these high scoring predictions are coming from. It's a 12 noon game. It's going to be blazing hot.

It's their hate for Manny clouding their judgment. I don't see us scoring 30 or more but I like your rationale.
 
MSU was picked by most publication to finish last in the B1G East. They've played a terrbile NW team & Youngstown State. It is a noon game in the heat. The line all summer long was Miami -17.5. They aren't good in the trenches, desipte many people on CIS saying it all week. App State would be favored over them on a neutral field.

Canes need a serious wake up call. Not sure they're motivated even after last week.
