Prediction on year Cristobal takes over.

He couldnt get anyone at FIU when he was there, now he has the logo behind him and hes recruiting elite at OU. Its funny when people think Butch or a Saban can win at a FIU. They use that as an argument its funny to me

Our fan base is so ******* delusional it’s unbelievable. I’m not a huge fan of Mario but Who are we going to get that’s better?

There's no guarantees at the moment. I'd take a chance on 2 guys. Matt Campbell and Jeff Hafley

Home is home

Many people have never had a passion project in life so the concept of turning down money to chase a lifelong dream is something they will simply never understand. There is no point in trying to explain it. People who know the feeling also know that if Miami gave Cristobal a fair offer (no hometown discount) he'd leave Oregon for the U without a second thought.

I didn’t say it happens this year. But “the door is closed” is shortsighted imo.
Fair enough. I know Mario is from Miami, is a fomer Cane, and maybe Miami HC is his dream job. But I don't see anyone or a group stepping up and paying that bill.

Has nothing to do with a passion project. Given the landscape of CFB right now, you'd probably have to go undefeated in the PAC to get into the playoff, whereas a team with 1 loss has a better chance of getting in out of the ACC.

Resources aside, he's always going to have a tougher time winning big at Oregon.

Mario has the best facilities in all college football. Mario’s great recruiting along with Phil knight, he’s revered in Oregon.

These teams compete on a different level in big time matchups. If Miami isn't getting blown out after the 1st quarter it's a minor miracle. See the difference?
