Where is the proof that our coaching is so vastly improved? Recruiting certainly hasn't gotten any better. The Diaz hire was a joke. And now you've got a first time DB coach working with an extremely thin secondary.

Losing Bush, Howard and Burns is going be huge, and coaching at that spot is suspect to say the least. We'll be inexperienced at linebacker. So good chance this defense doesn't improve at all and maybe even gets worse

Our offensive line was the weakest unit on the field this year. We add no talent and we don't upgrade our coaching at that position either. Our RB's are underwhelming, and there are no Dalvin Cooks, Sony Michels, Alex Collins', etc in this class. Our WR depth is thin and we don't have Miami speed at that position. Sam Beuce would be a great pickup but wil he stick?

The team didn't get better after Larry Scott took over. So obviously the whole addition by subtraction thing didn't work. The problem was we had terrible coordinators and position coaches. We haven't upgraded there except on the defensive line

Do you think Fedora, Meldenhall, Fuente, et al are just gonna lay down and say, " oh golly Richt is at Miami so why compete?"

The Coastal Division in general has upgraded at least 3 coaching staffs. Its not the SEC West (yet), but I believe it wont be the lack luster top to bottom play we've seen in recent years.

Our Hurricanes are in a much better place, but so are UNC and UVA, with VT likely going sideways tough.

- No homerun threat at the skill positions
- A dangerously thin secondary
- Huge question mark at the corner spot after Corn


Early on I'm thinking 9-3 sounds right. But a good 9-3, where the losses are humiliating and the wins are convincing.
