#Canes training camp, 2014 edition, is over. Practice canceled tomorrow. Next media availability Sunday -- the start of Louisville week.

Louisville week is now upon us.

I know the experts will complain, but knowing when a team needs a rest is important. Camp is brutal. A couple of days down to heal amd recover is a good move.

Preseason work has concluded. The staff and players have put in the necessary work to be competitive this season. Time to buckle down and prep for Louisville. I like our roster. I'm confident this will be our best year under Golden's leadership. Let's go 'Canes!

Not sure what the problem is with cancelling it. Some just love *****ing I guess.

Golden is obviously covering for Heaps.

Getting to Louisville healthy is key. You saw how many Duke players went down, Braxton Miller. Don't want a season changing injury before you ever step on the field.

Also, maybe I'm looking into it to much but this could mean Golden has some trust in what is now a more veteran team. Hopefully they have a better understanding of what is required of them on the field.
