Practice #11

Whoever executes the offense best and gets the most from the offense (and his teammates). That's it. That is the QB all UM fans should be hoping for. And individual drills in shorts and t-shirts against air don't count for much in making that determination. Limited film from last year in a different offense does not count for much in making that determination.

Until the QB is out there in the same color jersey as his teammates, nobody really knows what they have.

Last winter, it was Tate's job to lose . . .I'm just happy as **** that N'kosi and Jarren didn't buckle and are giving Tate a run for it or might even win it . . .

Well over several videos were posted with single line drills but ok
U know what absolutely ur right then. How can I argue with that logic. It's not like my nephew is one of those receivers or nothing or like I go to practice and see with my own eyes. Walk through against air are very informative. But ok

Just complementing her throwing ability. Lol

people never learn.. also, look guys another thread of people fighting

look forward to another e-fight in... well the very next thread that is made

No he doesnt. That's just these morons yall count on for these videos arent bright enough to look around. He always uses multiple groupings unless absolutely necessary. Not very much depth right now so that is an issue in itself.

this.

You said nothing about accuracy. Knowing the playbook is cool but if he cant accurately throw the ball he will not be the guy. Diaz already listed accuracy as one of the biggest things they are looking for.
True, but being accuracy means little if you’re throwing to the wrong guy. We need a QB that is accurate AND knows when and where to throw it. Here’s hoping they all get to that point.

Lmao smh

No one is trying to "divide the fanbase", literally 95% of the posters on this board just want the best man whoever it is that gives us the best chance to win come 8/24.

The overwhelming majority of us have all said it doesn't matter who out of the 3 wins the competition, most of us just are excited at the fact that it's a real comp & all 3 guys are stepping up & doing their best.

The only people that are have hissy fits are yall Tate fanboys that immediately look to discredit anything that's said that doesn't paint him as the clear out front leader. Multiple people that have observed practice have all said the exact same thing about all 3, each of the QB's have had their good days & bad days, they've all made nice throws & bad throws.

Gaboowins who's watched every practice has said the same sh*t, Tate has good mobility but has struggled at times with accuracy throwing the ball to the outside, Perry has a good deep ball but isn't always on point going over the middle of the field & Jarren is the most accurate of the 3 delivering the ball with velocity & excels in the intermediate routes but his deep ball isn't as accurate.

You presume Tate is going to win it because you're rooting for him & him alone, none of us would be shocked if he won it because most of that are sensible have listened to what Diaz/Enos have said that this QB race is going into Summer/Fall.

Most of us will be happy with whoever wins the QB race, you & RevLee are the only ones that seems like yall will be throwing a tantrum if anybody but Tate is named the starter.

Does Ryan Collins have any eligibility left?

Tate played vs rutgers backups. Nobody gives a shît about extending plays. We need somebody who can throw the **** ball. You dont seem to be able to comprehend well.

He can extend all the plays, know all the plays but if he cant get the guys the ball he will not play.
this is true but it’s also been reported he is starting to get more settled in which he has been playing better recently. It’s just far too early in this competition to concede or count anyone out which ’m pretty sure is everyone’s opinion. It’s exciting to have multiple capable arms competing for the job

How many times has Urban Meyer missed on QBs? Alex Smith? Leak? Tebow? Miller? JT? Cardale? It's pretty safe to say he knows how to evaluate QBs and Tate was up next. Is it possible Tate could be a bust? Yes. Likely? No.

It doesn't take an elite arm to get guys the ball in college. Tebow didn't have the best arm, natty. Newton, natty. McElroy, Sims, Hurts, natty. Nick Marshall was a converted CB and got Auburn to a natty.

There's actual game film showing Tate has the capability to get guys the ball. The only reason people are even questioning his arm is bc a couple journalists are tweeting he's been inconsistent.

Not counting him out at all. This guy thinks it doesn't matter if you can throw or not but martell will win the job because he extend plays and knows the playbook.

Dude are you playing slow or you really dont comprehend well? I said ACCURACY not arm strength. They are not the same. And enos doesnt run that type of spread offense that meyer does. That's why ryan day didnt want martell because his system isnt the same and he wants more of a passer and martell is run first.

And people are questioning his arm because there has been issues. When he was at osu it was said he struggled throwing the ball consistently but he could run. They compared him to jt barrett.

Just let the shît play out. You acting like tate is this elite proven qb when he hasn't done shît.

☆ I said ARM meaning both accuracy and strength
☆ Enos is already on record saying he will run a scheme that is tailored around his players
☆ Day didn't want Martell bc a top 3 QB in the nation had interest in OSU
☆ There has been issues but it still doesn't change the fact that a lot of national champion QBs the last 10 years didnt have a great arm
☆ OSU compared him to JT Barrett and JT didn't do anything but bring home a natty
