Go coax one of these two to come over and i think OL would be set.

This is from before the 2025 seasons

Quinten Christensen

Christensen was a key reserve for the Jackrabbits during their run to the FCS national championship in 2023. He stepped into a full-time starting role last season, starting all 15 games at left tackle. Christensen decided to remain in Brookings despite the change at head coach and is projected to be one of the best returning offensive linemen in the MVFC.

In over 800 offensive snaps, Christensen did not allow a sack and only allowed 11 total pressures. He helped pave the way for the No. 1 rushing offense in the MVFC. South Dakota State also allowed the fewest sacks per game (.53) in the nation, while ranking No. 3 nationally in total sacks allowed (8)

Titan Fleischmann (Montana State)

In 370 pass-blocking snaps, Fleischmann only allowed one sack and 10 quarterback pressures. He excelled as a run blocker as well, posting the highest run-blocking grade in the Big Sky, ranking No. 5 nationally. He is the highest-graded returning offensive tackle in the FCS after ranking No. 6 nationally last season.

Someone see the PFF for these two. @Cribby @Calinative

Also if anyone can get to coaches. These two should be graduates coming up.

I'll post those two at the end, but ALSO Guys I'd look into:

1. Mason Bowers - Charlotte. 22 starts, seems like has potentially elite athleticism at 6'4" 310lbs. Kinda bad pff grades OVERALL, but played both OT spots in 2024 and then in 25 played rt and rg. Here is the KEY In 2025 in 4 games at RT he had pass block grades of 55, 35, 52, 32... BUT THEN he moved to RG and his next 7 games his pass block grade was 76, 81, 84, 83, 58, 82, 84!!!! So clearly maybe this dude is simply just a Guard and was playing out of playce for 1.5 years.... Like this seems extremely intriguing to me...

2. Freddie Pelling - Campbell. 21 Starts. 6'9" 315lbs. In 2025 had a 78.7 pass block grade. In 2024 had a 73.6 Pass block grade. On 716 total pass block reps at LT has allowed 27 pressures, 18 hurries, 7 sacks. 7 Penalties. 97.5% Pass Block efficiency

Christensen, 6'5" 300lbs. About 30 starts. 1,956 Total snaps at LT. Would be the better of the two due to actually being an OT and having good pass block grades.

25 - 70.3 Overall grade, 86.0 pass block, 60.7 run block. 7 Games with an 80+ pass grade. Only 1 game with a 70+ run grade. On 492 Pass block snaps, Allowed 12 pressures, 8 hurries, and 3 sacks. 98.4% pass block efficiency. 5 penalties

24 - 63.5 Overall grade, 72.3 Pass block, 57.2 Run Block. 4 Games with an 80+ pass grade. Only 1 game with a 70+ run grade. On 378 Pass block snaps, allowed 11 pressures, 11 hurries, 0 sacks. 98.5% pass block efficiency. 2 penalties.

Fleischmann, 6'4" 300lbs. About 32 starts. 1,947 total snaps at RG.

25 - 69.2 Overall grade, 69.2 Pass Block, 68.7 Run Block. 479 pass block snaps allowing 20 pressures, 15 hurries, and 1 sack. 987.7% pass block efficiency. 4 penalties

24 - 83.1 Overall Grade, 69.6 Pass Block, 84.5 Run Block. 370 Pass block snaps allowing 10 pressures, 9 hurries, and 1 sack. 98.6% Pass block efficiency. 5 penalties.

Love that the portals closed and we feel like the staff will pull a rabbit out of the hat for a position we (kind of) need.

It really does feel like one more Olineman is the last piece we need.
