The Georgia kid will play right tackle and Cantwell will play left tackle. Samson will play guard. McCoy will play guard. Center? No idea Rodriguez?

I think Samson is a guard! Could be Cantwell and McCoy at tackle. Samson inside with SJ and Buchanan! I wish Kinsler stayed but whatever. Meriweather could Factor inside or outside. The line will be strong!
 
There’s no guarantees right now. There’ll be cross training and competition. Nothing would surprise me. From McCoy , Pancake or Merriweather at T right down to Cantwell playing inside to start career or getting the Mauigoa treatment starting outside. I do think Buchanon and Rodriguez are the only guarantees at where they play. Imo there’s 6-7 guys in play for starting.

No chances of UM convincing a grad transfer after spring? Or the whole idea is really hypothetical right now

IF cristobal/mirabal come out of spring with some concerns on the OL and there's a grad transfer thats a proven starting level talent why wouldnt u make that move? Every other position group is gna be really strong
 
In addition to the 7 guys mentioned I’m sure someone else will emerge. Wilkinson some of the others we took the past cycle or two?

I wouldn’t be stunned. It’s not like there is any proven, experienced talent at tackle on the roster. Also, Markell Bell started as a raw JUCO transfer.

Would assume McCoy or Samson get earlier shots at OT. Mirabel is a helluva coach, though hard imaging a reserve guard at Georgia is gonna be our starting LT.

He’s 6’-7” 305 lbs. and has started as many games at tackle as anyone else on our roster (scary thought, I know).

I’m not saying he’s absolutely going to start, but rather he has as much of a chance as anyone else.

At the end of the day, I trust Alex and Mario to put the best 5 players out there regardless of experience at any given spot.
