Joe Rose was hinting at some potential news/violations regarding Monarch HS (Ridley/SBB) and Bama.

Monarch recently fired their HC, so that may be related.

I doubt the "news" isn't about anything we all didn't know was already going on.

Yep. Grass is green.. Bagmen are real. They were delivered. Not saying they got paid but if your a big time recruit for Bama you get "taken care of" one way or another. They fired their coach so the wrong person found out.

Crazy how it went down but these kids really loved UM but were very vulnerable.

If you don't think SBB and Calvin were delivered you are extremely naive.

funny, a guy a i work with just interviewed for the job there, josh moore from pompano ely/kansas state/chicago bears

Joe didn't really go into details for legal reasons (560 is now a CBS radio station), but he pretty much alluded to coaches delivering players to certain schools.

Basically, stuff that has always been going on.

SEC network for cheating is so advanced they don't get caught even if some information got out, Emmert wouldn't go after his boy Saban or his school LSU or any other of those cheating schools.

Now if it's Miami, UNC, Southern Cal, Ohio Taint, GT, Syracuse, Oregon its another story.

Oh and sbb and Ridley getting bought or whatever is like grass being green or a beer having hair or a fat baby pooting. No doubt it happened.

Wasn't Genron involved in their recruitment?

I'm disgusted with so called "amateur" athletics. When some schools are allowed to flat out pay for kids, while others aren't, it's a disgusting advantage and double standard. I am ready to see a minor league football system put into place, where the players good enough to earn money right out of high school can go and earn a living right away. It's criminal they are forced to make money for these "schools" that are no more interested in them for education than they are reporting themselves for the major violations they are committing. Let them skip college and earn a living, just like every other human being out there who has a skill they can profit from. I promise you, minor league football would make enough money to sustain itself. These kids who have a short shelf life should be able to earn money right away, not play for a college for 3 years before being allowed to enter the pros. That's absurd.

Also, for those actually concerned about the education they'd be missing out on, just put a clause into EVERY contract that they will have a college education paid for when they end their football career. At that point they will actually GET AN EDUCATION, because they wouldn't be being exploited by these so called educational institutions just to make money for their athletic department.

That's my rant for the day.

Hold on, wait. Are you saying a major college football powerhouse paid someone to help deliver a recruit to them? Next you're going to tell me that man will walk on the moon someday.

All the NCAA needs to do is go to the football players parking lot at Alabama and investigate the source of funds for the purchases of the cars driven by the football players and their girlfriends if they were serious about enforcing their rules in recruiting. Those on the inside know how the game is played in the SEC$$$$$$.

No Genron got on Twitter about it. The question was whether or not he was just running his mouth or he in fact had actual contact with them. I believe it was either Tito or DMoney who said he had no influence on them or something like that.

From what I've read here these kids not family and financially blessed in any manner. Understand some academic inefficiencies as well. Trust me when I say this, but these boys, Calvin, Cavin and SBB, have been assured they will be financially secure while at Bama and are banking their future on a professional football career. Education/classes while there will be a major inconvenience to them. If as advertised they looking to be 3 and out. A man or kid in need can be manipulated indeed. I would feel sorry for them, but one of them will be worth more than me in 3 years. Life will be unkind to at least one of them when the path chosen doesn't pan out.
