Potential News from Monarch HS

Yep. Grass is green.. Bagmen are real. They were delivered. Not saying they got paid but if your a big time recruit for Bama you get "taken care of" one way or another. They fired their coach so the wrong person found out.

Crazy how it went down but these kids really loved UM but were very vulnerable.

If you don't think SBB and Calvin were delivered you are extremely naive.

Wasn't Genron involved in their recruitment?

Nope.. I mean he was around them way too much from 7v7 and was around the people who were involved. But if Genron didn't exist.. Still would've had the same turnout.

This the crap i be talkin about.... people mad Miami dnt get these guys but the fact of the matter is they loved Miami and wanted to be canes, but wen the $EC comes calling they go... people need to understand Miami is in no position to pay anybody cause we are on probation again... and Truth be told if we mess up again, our program will be completely dead.... and if nobody dont think so you very dumb.... You think Golden and Co. Dnt knw what's goin on??? Be real people....

Alabama was on probation when they last got busted.

Much like any other school, Im pretty certain they also get the "no future infractions for 10 years" type language as well.

Bottom Line? A school like Alabama doesn't give a rat's a$$. A coach like Saban rarely comes around and the risk of NCAA sanctions pales in comparison to what that multi-billion dollar operation rakes in during winning seasons. Keep the boosters on the outside looking in as necessary (though they bend that timeless truth quite a bit) and let the dirty high school coaches and street agents do their thing...bottom line, shield the coaches from any connection or anything that could implicate the school...and then cheat however necessary. Its disgusting to watch, especially since it has become a one upmanship type of thing in the $EC. Alabama cheats, Auburn pays more money to cheat...Alabama gets ****ed and doubles their efforts..and on and on.

The true wild wild west, with ZERO concern of consequences.

UM

Several years ago there were numerous Bama players(McCarron) sporting their custom rides from Hot Wheelz in Mobile!! Bama hooked these guys up down in South Alabama!!

I'm disgusted with so called "amateur" athletics. When some schools are allowed to flat out pay for kids, while others aren't, it's a disgusting advantage and double standard. I am ready to see a minor league football system put into place, where the players good enough to earn money right out of high school can go and earn a living right away. It's criminal they are forced to make money for these "schools" that are no more interested in them for education than they are reporting themselves for the major violations they are committing. Let them skip college and earn a living, just like every other human being out there who has a skill they can profit from. I promise you, minor league football would make enough money to sustain itself. These kids who have a short shelf life should be able to earn money right away, not play for a college for 3 years before being allowed to enter the pros. That's absurd.

Also, for those actually concerned about the education they'd be missing out on, just put a clause into EVERY contract that they will have a college education paid for when they end their football career. At that point they will actually GET AN EDUCATION, because they wouldn't be being exploited by these so called educational institutions just to make money for their athletic department.

That's my rant for the day.

Nice sentiment but most of the kids you're talking about couldn't qualify for an entry slot in a good college without their football skills. But then again, given the types of course work and majors they get pushed into now, maybe it's not that big a deal in the overall scheme of things.

Genron knows just about every kid down here and comments about it, dont think he had anything to do with his recruitment

have you seen the tax revenue the $EC brings in? We no **** well that the NCAA is going to take care of the hand that feeds them... Its no secret that LSU freshman running back was being investigated for having some one take his ACT, Cam at auburn was suspend for about 2min in his investigation even though his father clearly said when asked how did he get the money to pay for his new church he responded god gave it too him. The SEC brings the NCAA too much money for them to give to a rats behind on what they do. Go Canes

the SEC doesnt give the NCAA jack ****
those "student/athletes" do
if the kids didnt go to an SEC school, they'd go somewhere else and those schools would be reaping those same benifits
last 2 national champions? non SEC schools

the main problem is that it has gotten so out of hand in the SEC that the NCAA cant do anything bc they'd have to put sanctions on several schools and they'd have to admit what everyone already knows...that they're incompetent and have lost complete control of college athletics. They just wait for someone to get caught slipping badly (cough Syracuse cough) so they could act like they give a sht. Syracuse gets slammed but nothing happens at UNC

sorry guys, *ends rant*

From what I've read here these kids not family and financially blessed in any manner. Understand some academic inefficiencies as well. Trust me when I say this, but these boys, Calvin, Cavin and SBB, have been assured they will be financially secure while at Bama and are banking their future on a professional football career. Education/classes while there will be a major inconvenience to them. If as advertised they looking to be 3 and out. A man or kid in need can be manipulated indeed. I would feel sorry for them, but one of them will be worth more than me in 3 years. Life will be unkind to at least one of them when the path chosen doesn't pan out.

Cavin isn't going to bama

Do you know where Cavin is going?

How many schools with degrees worth the paper they are printed on do you think are going to jump at the opportunity to let a student with lower qualifying values than the average admitted student in when they don't get the benefit of their participation on the football team?
