One thing that sticks out watching these highlights: this kid is as good at going through his progressions, and quickly, as anyone you will ever see at this level. This is not hyperbole.

I dare anyone to watch those highlights and tell me Miami doesnā€™t have the best QB in the nation this year.
 
As I said earlier...we could win a national title. Its possible.

Mario could also go Mario.
Carson Beck could lose us a game with multiple picks in the red zone including one late.
This team could be less than ready for a sneaky November weve all seen laid trapped for us before.
We could get ****ed by our own doing from the CFP again.

Whole spectrum of possibilities.

Let me repeat we had a top five run game in the country, that is not made up, those are facts! So again, why do we need to fix a problem Thatā€™s not broken?

I think he ends up being a T10 QB this season. UGA did him little to no favors last season. But thatā€™s my broader point. We will not play 16 clean games this season. We just wonā€™t. How does he react when things go sideways.

If ND comes out and gets after Beck early, does he look shell shocked like he did to start the Bama? Or does he settle in and play with a different mentality knowing our run game will keep the offense afloat. Iā€™m going to be cautiously skeptical of this team until I see it. If thatā€™s believing ā€œanti Miami press clippingsā€ so be it. But this program has lost any benefit of doubt with me.

It's been well documented he didn't struggle early in that game his wide outs struggled. He was throwing dimes from the first drive against Bama.

The talent is there so it doesn't take much, seems almost always college teams with talent fail because of too much complexity rather than too much simplicity so "Good teacher, doesn't overcomplicate things" is all I needed to hear.

All our transfers at receiver. Young guys who knows Iā€™m in on Toney and Trader and Moore.

Linebacker, all of them. Donā€™t see a difference maker. Weā€™ve been told Toure is good, hope he is. Bissainthe has played a lot and isnā€™t that good. Aguirre too slow. Other transfers JAGS. Would love to see more Pruitt, he pops.

People got all mad at my post, free country. Part of it is that Iā€™m just so out on Mario that unless we got first rounders at every position, weā€™re losing 2 games. The talent has to be overwhelming or heā€™s gonna blow it and I donā€™t see overwhelming talent. I see good to very good ACC talent everywhere with Mauigoa, Bain, and hopefully Beck being elite.
