...so not top 5 like I said., 7th in YPC is great and we were 31st in yards bc we had the best qb in CFB and passed a lot. So yes, we had a top run offense.

This is where I think Mario intervenes with a running up the gut playThis. First game will reveal a lot. Regardless of how it rates statistically, Dawson needs some diversity in the run game. Teams like ND aren't going to get gashed by dives out the Pistol. They're going to mug tf out of Toney and CJ too, hopefully Jojo is on Gray as I think he's the weakest corner they have.
Look at this guy stand tall in the pocket. Footwork. Decisive. Accurate.
We have a dude at QB.
Let me repeat we had a top five run game in the country, that is not made up, those are facts! So again, why do we need to fix a problem Thatās not broken?Top 5 in what metric? We were 31st in yards and 7th in ypc. Maybe in advanced stats. Teams weren't loading the box with Cam at QB, they'll do it with Beck until he and our receivers prove they can burn a secondary. You don't want to be one-dimensional when the talent/competition levels out, or is better, in the playoffs.
Disagree and I can tell by your response, that you know little to nothing about football. But by all means dude carry on with your false agenda. It improved but it's still awful. He's fully dependent on his coordinators on gameday.
You can play semantics and nitpick btw top 5 or top 10 all u want, but the original still stands it was very effective and advance metrics show that it was 1 of the top running attacks in CFB....so not top 5 like I said.
LOL and I can tell by your response you are thin-skinned and low IQDisagree and I can tell by your response, that you know little to nothing about football. But by all means dude carry on with your false agenda.
It's been well documented he didn't struggle early in that game his wide outs struggled. He was throwing dimes from the first drive against Bama.Youāre right. He did do that. But he looked horrendous in the first half of that game. Both statements can be true. Do I think Beck struggles like some are predicting? No.
I think he ends up being a T10 QB this season. UGA did him little to no favors last season. But thatās my broader point. We will not play 16 clean games this season. We just wonāt. How does he react when things go sideways.
If ND comes out and gets after Beck early, does he look shell shocked like he did to start the Bama? Or does he settle in and play with a different mentality knowing our run game will keep the offense afloat. Iām going to be cautiously skeptical of this team until I see it. If thatās believing āanti Miami press clippingsā so be it. But this program has lost any benefit of doubt with me.

The majority of porsters on this site.
We need some different comparisons, maybe Herbert Oregon and the 2025 offenses at Clemson and PSU because those are the teams we are bout to pass when Beck outplays Allar and Klubnick this year.
The talent is there so it doesn't take much, seems almost always college teams with talent fail because of too much complexity rather than too much simplicity so "Good teacher, doesn't overcomplicate things" is all I needed to hear.

Extremely unlikely after they just read about the āwinning attitudeā all our veteran WR transfers possessā¦..Not sold on WR.
I believe in Toney and them, but I still need to see it at this level.
Every DC stacking the box til they prove otherwise.
All our transfers at receiver. Young guys who knows Iām in on Toney and Trader and Moore.Who are the jags at receiver and linebacker
It moved.
