Messidor has been dominant. What’s the highest you guys see him going in the draft? I was thinking 2nd rounder. Any chance he can sneak into a first?
Brother that was 3 years ago. Idk anyone to regain form 3 years later.
I guess he did okIf Mesidor does start the entire season I am not cheering for his downfall. My issue is with you creating a deceiving narrative that he has been awesome by using misleading credentials. If anything we all should be hoping he far exceeds his production in '22. Barring 5-7, I'll be here in December to see how this plays out.
I didnt make it past post #2 before I went to get the pop corn.. This gon be gud..With the LB position battle thread heating up, I figure this bump is pretty fitting. Some hit takes in this one.
Agree.I guess he did ok![]()

Both Mesi and Bain said Blount got next at spring game today.. Lets see how it plays out, we know he got work ethic, time for him to step up, crazy he is probably still 19 and Mesi is 25 just to give idea of how much development he still has moving forward..Glad to say I was wrong on this. Really glad to say that.
I think it speaks volumes about Akheem Mesidor — his commitment, his work ethic — and credit to Jason Taylor too.
I’m really interested to see how Blount compares this year to what Mesidor was last season. Mesidor leaned heavily on his craft — quickness, twitch, pure explosiveness. He took a real jump. Before that, he wasn’t this level of player, but once he got healthy, got in shape, and everything clicked, he hit another gear.
Now with Blount, it’s different. He’s younger coming into it, but Mario Cristobal has been high on him from the jump. I think he’s got an NFL-type season in him. At the same time, I could see him sticking around with Taylor, developing that craft even more — and if that happens, you’re talking about a guy who could be here another year or two and turn into a legit first-round pick.

Sometimes as fans y'all ain't fair on these kids. Seeing the board maddens takes on Mesi I get it. But Mesi when healthy showed exactly who he was through production. Blount as a back up has looked **** good. But let's see who he is with an entirely different focus and approach to his responsibilities. I definitely see his upside but he's gotta show it now.Glad to say I was wrong on this. Really glad to say that.

Yet people always wondered why I'd speak up about how excessive the mopery of some people had got on here. Y'all just speaking on cway who I've definitely called on things over the years. But it wasn't just him. Let's not forget how rampant that **** was. Very few people saw that same vision towards the progress we were experiencing and would constantly have to argue for that stance. **** was all over here. Now they just act like they all knew what was coming. This aged like yogurt sitting in your car in the summer.
You’re not wrong but i don’t think it should be forgotten that he was a high school senior last year in a natty contenders 2deep. The technique development with his already natural length and power will make him a good pass rusher imoBlount has proven exactly Zero pass rush prowess in 2yrs so far. He needs to make a major improvement in that area. If he doesn’t he’s simply a Run stopping tweeter. And given nobody knows what the **** is up with Lowe, Blounts pass rush development is critical for us… I guess he will be the guy dropping inside and we will have Wilson and Lightfoot rushing outside mostly… but still
