Messidor has been dominant. What’s the highest you guys see him going in the draft? I was thinking 2nd rounder. Any chance he can sneak into a first?

Not a first. He's a 2nd/3rd rounder right now, assuming he tests ok. I do wonder how he'll test, though. If he is sub 4.7, and continues to have a great year, he's a 2nd rounder, imo.

Brother that was 3 years ago. Idk anyone to regain form 3 years later.

He is playing well enough to be a borderline 1st RD pick to me right now. Most likely a 2nd, but his foot injury could come into play. You never know what these teams come up with.

If Mesidor does start the entire season I am not cheering for his downfall. My issue is with you creating a deceiving narrative that he has been awesome by using misleading credentials. If anything we all should be hoping he far exceeds his production in '22. Barring 5-7, I'll be here in December to see how this plays out.
I guess he did ok 🤷🏾‍♂️

Stay focus this yr for the defensive end group and team.

Plenty of food to be had, Plus we need all the these players (Hayden lowe included) ready for the next hunt. No lacking this season.

Glad to say I was wrong on this. Really glad to say that.

I think it speaks volumes about Akheem Mesidor — his commitment, his work ethic — and credit to Jason Taylor too.

I’m really interested to see how Blount compares this year to what Mesidor was last season. Mesidor leaned heavily on his craft — quickness, twitch, pure explosiveness. He took a real jump. Before that, he wasn’t this level of player, but once he got healthy, got in shape, and everything clicked, he hit another gear.

Now with Blount, it’s different. He’s younger coming into it, but Mario Cristobal has been high on him from the jump. I think he’s got an NFL-type season in him. At the same time, I could see him sticking around with Taylor, developing that craft even more — and if that happens, you’re talking about a guy who could be here another year or two and turn into a legit first-round pick.

Blount has proven exactly Zero pass rush prowess in 2yrs so far. He needs to make a major improvement in that area. If he doesn’t he’s simply a Run stopping tweeter. And given nobody knows what the **** is up with Lowe, Blounts pass rush development is critical for us… I guess he will be the guy dropping inside and we will have Wilson and Lightfoot rushing outside mostly… but still

Both Mesi and Bain said Blount got next at spring game today.. Lets see how it plays out, we know he got work ethic, time for him to step up, crazy he is probably still 19 and Mesi is 25 just to give idea of how much development he still has moving forward..

Sometimes as fans y'all ain't fair on these kids. Seeing the board maddens takes on Mesi I get it. But Mesi when healthy showed exactly who he was through production. Blount as a back up has looked **** good. But let's see who he is with an entirely different focus and approach to his responsibilities. I definitely see his upside but he's gotta show it now.
