Position coaches that should be kept for the next HC

Beard was part of national championship teams and has great local ties to 7 on 7 teams.

Glad he locked up his former player Scarlett.

Agreed!!

I also blame our government's budget deficit on the night shift data entry gal. :topsy_turvy:

Nice stab at faqqy sarcasm, but if Beard can't even lock down one of his former players what good is he? He was a secretary last year and has zero experience or pedigree as a coach. Also hasn't done **** to improve our receivers.

So, yeah, if you want to be a position coach at a marquee program you have to bring SOMETHING to the table. If you can't even lock up one of your former players you're relatively useless when you bring nothing else to the table.

Being an ex cane doesn't make you a good coach

Our Wr's get ZERO separation on "routes". ZERO!

Just because Ray Lewis was a great NFL player doesn't mean he can out coach Belicheck.

A lot of you dudes have no clue about the game of football.

Our WR's get no separation because they are slow. Golden loves slow tall WR's.

Coley is a fraud.

We are paying him $750k and its disgusting. There are at least 15 better OC's we could have for that kind of dough.

james coley to me is weird. other coaches want him every off season. last year golden micro managed him, i wonder if he is still doing that.

Only people that I think really should be kept: Kehoe and Beard. The only way possible I'd want Coley to say is if he was just as a QB coach.
I'd want the Next HC to bring on Butch in some capacity and make him recruiting coordinator.

If we actually have a chance to get Hue Jackson I think there is no way in **** we should pass that up. Id also ant Chip kelly or Chud before Butch.

Kehoe? Art Keyblow?

Football is all about the trenches, and we can't get ANYTHING on 3rd and short, or goal line situations. I'm fed up with Keyquote, talks a great game but his lines have sucked except for 2001. It's time for new blood...

So three points:

1) That was quality sarcasm. It was nowhere near ***gy. :peaceful:

2) I agree with your take about Kevin Beard's qualifications.

3) Item #2 aside, I cannot blame KB for not bringing in a recruit who will then have to play for al golden (and James Coley). That's why I made comment above.

You have to make a much stronger case for anyone on staff than I have seen here, with no exceptions. I get the loyalty to former players and long time coaches, but this needs to be blown up.
