Polendy Out for the Year

Got to adjust,
My 2 suggestions
-in the goaline or short yardage situation bring a 6th lineman in as a “tight end” to block. Don’t force the issue here and make it over complicated.
- move langham and have him split out and play the role Mallory is playing out wide instead of taking one of our top 3 receiver spots. Just to have him rep there not necessarily take reps over Mallory .
81 should of been at TE from the jump

Dude runs a sub 5.0

Patchan stays put. Now if Mallory or Jordan get hurt this is a serious problem and the coaches will probably have to seriously consider that move.

For now my money is on plucking a guy from D they feel can block if needed. A guy like Charles Perry may be asked to do that.

Has Perry even played this year? I know he had a solid year last season till he hurt his knee.

Needs to, doesn’t consistently get seperation on the outside and is taking up space
When they're ready, Cager and Pope to one side and Ahmmon/Hightower and Thomas to the other with Jordan/Mallory at TE is going to be impossible to defend.

To his credit, though, Langham was victim of a blatant and uncalled PI last week, and so was Thomas and Jordan. It's like the refs threw us two courtesy holding flags at the beginning just so we couldn't complain, and then kept the yellow in their pockets the rest of the game.

Ouch, 2 scholarship TE's left. Could Langham possibly fill in some TE sets?

Honestly, I’ve been said put Langham at TE and let him be our Ingram. It makes too much sense from a scheme perspective since we’re loaded at WR, and it will get that young man drafted.

He's a big freakn kid, may not be the blocker we need to but may be able to so some things for us.
