Unfortunately Mallory needs to be the full-time backup now. No more double tight sets. No more getting him in just get him in. It sucks. The TE position is close to my heart. But we cannot risk an injury by sending Mallory on a go route just to get him in the game. We have way too many good WRs for that. The only time he needs to be on the field is when Brevin needs to rest.

This is why I hope Zip reads these threads. Yeah he can go to ufag & start. Or he can come to TE U & end up with the same numbers as our 3rd TE that he would've had there.

And we ran that play a couple times successfully against Toledo without him. Polendey is a good kid, and I wish him well. But he’s got no business on the field here with all the skill talent we have.

I agree. Hate to say it, but he was just a body we could throw in front of someone on designed runs. Like you, though, I wish the kid well and a speedy recovery.

Richt said he's going to be spending more time backing up Jordan at the F, because you can't leave one guy out there for 60,70,80 snaps.
