Does Mario genuinely see issues with his & gattis offensive philosophy.. or is he putting blame on players just not executing the plays?

Is he to stubborn to realize this offense doesn’t get you very far in todays college football?

Has anyone let him know personally this offense isn’t good, and not just because of the players?

I was going to ask something similar.

Is there actual honest no bulll **** self evaluation going on or just coach speak confirmation bias to justify what they are doing?

Three questions:
  1. How is the locker room right now, and who are our leaders? Are there cliques and dynamics holding this team back?
  2. We have a massive culture problem on our hands. What steps has Mario taken that you think will pan out long-term?
  3. What percentage of blame for this O is on Gattis, and what percentage is on the players/execution?
I don't get why there are certain cliques. I remember off-season the team did lots of team bonding

Can we bring in Lane Kiffin as an OC, give him all of Gattis' salary and $3mil of Mario's salary and make him and Mario co-head coaches?

“Have you ever seen Michigan play?..”

“It’s kinda like that, but less TD’s..”

Should tvd have found a qb coach That was known for mechanics rather than one that was known for poor mechanics and inaccuracy

And does Garcia also train with this same coach

Which group of malcontents in the Administration and the Locker room are driving the current coaching regime revolt?

You know the answer to this. Even if warranted by on field results this move would destroy Mario's ability to attract good OC's in the future. He has to let Gattis finish the season and may need to let him have 2 years so the "next guy" sees Mario as giving his coordinators time.
Just wait until its 2 weeks before signing day and Mario releases a statement that Gattis is moving on, getting everyone's hopes up, while keeping recruits in the dark.

Then a month after signing day has come and gone, and multiple elite names have been thrown around, just for him to announce that Ponce is being promoted to OC. Which also turns out to have been the plan all along.

So technically... Gattis can go whenever because "the next guy" is already on staff. Ponce is and was always destined to be our next OC.

When did TVD lose complete mental command of the offense? And why does he no longer know where he’s going with the ball every play?

Exactly we’re stuck with him for 3 years
But by that time Mario will have amassed enough talent that he’s gonna look like a g calling plays

I agree with your entire assessment but 1 year is a minimum unless he pulls a Udoka and has *** with half the female staffers.
Only coach with the balls to fire his oc after one year miss defending off-season national champion manny Diaz
