PODCAST: Fall Camp First Impressions ft. LuCane

Mallory has shown he can win one on one. The moment he gets a step on a defender, he's gone.

Richt isn't a guy who is out of touch. He understands the method of modern offense. He will force defensive coordinators to keep a private eye on Mallory wherever he lines up. They may want to double cover Mallory, but because of the speed on the outside, they can't go for that. No can do.

Next level Hall and Oates references, DMoney! Well played.

Thank you Lu for the accuracy comment , in generalities you are either accurate or you’re not. A few dummies ripped me for saying this months ago.I even posted multiple coaches speaking on this , accuracy is something you have or you don’t.

Hence why I don’t expect much change with the qb play, Rosier is what he is. I’ll root for him, and hope he doesn’t cost us too many games.

Weldon finished the spring really strong after coming back from the eye infection. He can play.

I’ve considered him the wild card, very intriguing. He has that Mayfield kindve game ( not saying he’s him). He just has that do whatever it takes kinda game that doesn’t look ****. Just moved the chains , and is frustrating to defend.

Pretty sure Shaq said he gave the D fits on scout team.

I wish he could’ve been around for spring.

@DMoney nice job. Fantastic job on the podcast excited about the TE. They can be the difference makers between a good year or a great Year! A great TE is a QB best friend ask Dorsey!

**** sure got the volume issue fixed. That "Whoooo" at the beginning **** near made me jump out a moving vehicle.

Kelvin Harris and Damion Lewis said on a podcast that they are waiting on George Brown to move Donaldson to Guard.

From the whispers, here's probably what the coaches hope for in spring of 2019.

LT John Campbell
LG Scaife
C Gaynor
RG Reed
RT Donaldson

I'd love for Herbert to win RT and slip Donaldson back inside, but you get the idea. As D$ mentioned during the podcast, the hope is either Reed or Scaife win a G position at some point this season. We shall see.
Wow that’d be a beautiful line up

George Brown stinks.

Everything the LSU players said to the guy on Twitter when he transferred has held true here. They were right.

Next years QB competition is going to be incredible.

It already started. As mentioned on the podcast, the backup QB battle is one of the most interesting in Camp.

Jarren was best in spring but, as we saw last year, training camp is a whole new ballgame. Perry and Weldon have the talent to make a leap, just need consistency.

Great podcast. Are you guys going to try to do this weekly up until the LSU game?

Herbert was always thought of as a project coming in from AH so I am hoping people didn't expect anything from him until his 3rd year.

Starting to get a little worried about all the Mallory hype. Love the kids potential but ****.

I am not as low on Dean as some are. Not ready to just give up on a kid who is a legit 6'0 185 with 4.3 speed. Light can come on at any time for him. Just needs reps and confidence.

Last year's OL wasn't dog **** There is a lot of space between championship caliber and dog ****.

Last year's line was competent, but not championship caliber.
Thing is the oline played well enough outside of run blocking vs pitt to win every game on our schedule outside of the massacre vs clemson. They blocked well enough to win the Wisconsin game in which we was down our top 3 offensive weapons, poor officiating and horrible defensive play after having a lead.

Its definitely not as bad as people try and portray on here or anywhere near that...

I really hope Boulware takes one of the guard spots and then you have Mahoney and Jones battling for the other for week 1. By mid season Scaife and Reed can be rotating in as necessary setting them up for major PT in 19.
