My brothers... Can we quit with the fire Golden stuff. It's not happening. All we are doing is hurting our recruiting efforts. Lets not give him any more excuses. Wait until after signing day.

No. If we let up, the admin will just chalk it up to a vocal minority that got over it.

And frankly, it NEEDS to hurt recruiting. I don't want to see another kid suffer through what Duke Johnson had to.

This makes no sense. Do you want the next coach to have no players?

If there is one thing everybody should agree on, it is the importance of somehow finishing strong in recruiting.

And I probably won't let until all the coaching vacancies are filled. Always hope an average northern major conference team or a MAC school will want him.
 
There is nothing anyone could do at this point that would convince recruits that Golden will be here in the long term and is not a negative influence on their ability to win & get to the league. The impossible could happen and all of us could listen to you and it still wouldn't even make a dent.

Every day this guy stays the worse it is for the program, and nothing can mitigate the damage. CUT THE TIE NOW! SAVE HURRICANES FOOTBALL!

Passionate Miami fans rightfully calling for Golden's ouster doesn't hurt recruiting efforts.

A head coach going 6-6 in Year 4 at Miami, neglecting our recruiting base entirely too often in favor of coal shovelers from the Northeast, and sinking this program further into irrelevance by the day is what hurts recruiting.

It's not like recruits won't notice Golden's ineptitude if fans don't point out his flaws ad nauseum online. The sooner Golden gets the f*** out of here, the sooner we have a chance of accomplishing something meaningful and keeping more local studs home. Because this program is dead to rights with Golden at the helm and everyone knows it.
 
The product on the field is what is hurting recruiting. No kid wants to come play for these clowns. No kid is going to want to play in this defensive scheme.
 
These kids all over the internet. I bet few even visit this site. They aren't into this **** like we are. If we don't say it it's not like it's not being said somewhere else. Give these kids some intellectual credit, 6-6, late season losses etc, not like they need to be intellectuals to figure out Golden ain't ****.
 
Nothing. NOTHING! Nothing hurts recruiting more than the body of work these clown have compiled.

Wasting away kids' careers in some coward style football atmosphere.

As much as I want the best for the Canes on the field, I want the best for the kids more. They only get one shot at a football career and where they go to college has a huge impact on it. I don't want any of them to be held back from success by Al Golden. And at this point, we have no idea when we'll be getting the next coach. It could be next year or four years from now.

I see, it's the fans' fault.

What about the last four years of golden ineptitude? All the clown had to do was WIN GAMES. He had the power to shut up his critics.

Now the BOT, with slurper/enabler support, wants to give the clown another year, and maybe one more after a 6-6 season. He's a CANCER and needs to be removed or irradiated. The CANCER, if left untreated, will destroy this program.
