This makes no sense. Do you want the next coach to have no players?

If there is one thing everybody should agree on, it is the importance of somehow finishing strong in recruiting.

Don't disagree with you often, Money, but we need to get rid of Al at all cost. We have not been able to get a decent coach the last three times out -- they turn us down. Butch was last choice and maybe that is what we need again. Howard got hired in most desperate of times also. BOT has gotten me to the point where I would rather them not have a football team than continue this embarrassment. I do not wish a bad recruiting class but want Al gone at all cost.

we know he sucks as a coach and based on that we think it'll be another long year next year. if what we think happens, then he will be fired next year. Al isn't going anywhere this year and some of u guys have to accept that fact. as far as wanting the program to fail bc u dislike a coach, i cant do that. still love the canes no matter who is coaching. i hate Al too but i want to see us do well every year. I'm just hoping we turn it around bc next year will be our shot at getting one on FSU (no winston).

I don't think it matter whether any school fired a coach post-bowl game because the fact still remains...HE NEEDS TO BE FIRED.

There is no point and no logic for keeping a coach (i.e. not firing) that needs to go TODAY simply because it didn't happen before or after a bowl game.

i agree w u that he needs to go and shouldve been fired after that Pitt game like Randy. i was trying to relay information to you that I've gotten from a BOT member (pretty powerful one and a HUGE supporter of UM athletics). thats when my hope for him being gone this year died unless it comes in the form of another school hiring him away. if u dont care to hear it, then thats on you.

Like I said, I don't know you or know your source. I don't care if it is true or not. It needs to be done and should be done. There is no logic to keeping a chit coach after a bowl game. A chit coach needs to be fired.

You powerful BOT source is an idiot and if he does exist he should be acting up and making noise. There is no reason to keep Al in 2015. Just because a coach has never been fired after a bowl game (Which I have no idea) doesn't mean it shouldn't happen.

Why do you feel the need to allow people to voice their opinion? Are you the manager at their office and trying to get people to work? Please let us know. Do you care about efficiency?

I get the sentiment, but c'mon, IF the recruit doesn't know, you know the handlers, the street agents and even the all powerful moms know...

A. Golden and staff are not developing their players any better than Randy did...

It never ceases to amaze me that people really think that this horrific staffs inept coaching is irrelevant, but me tweeting at Hermaphrodite James is a major blow to recruiting. Kids commit to winners, hometown schools, and schools that pay them. If it's not one of those three things, its basically irrelevant to recruiting.

I've been to other teams' sites and they aren't any better. Some of them are worse. And where else are fans going to vent their frustrations with each other if they can't do it on a site like CIS?
